    GUILTY OR - Whitney Heichel, 21, Gresham, 16 Oct 2012 #2

snipped by me. I never really thought about this before, but when I buy gas here, and I usually spend $40, I hand the attendant my bank card and have never been asked for a PIN or signature. I don't know if they run it as an ATM or as a credit card.

Yes. Sunday and Monday saw a significant amount of rain. Really the first of the season, but it rained over an inch between those two days.

I walked through on google street view. The majority of cars a pulled in front ways, but there are about ten backed in. It's a big complex I'd say the ten cars represent around 15% of the parked cars. I feel like it's a potential clue too. Clearly, some people back into a parking space, but...

Does anyone remember the movie "Gattaca"?

You could also spin this the other way. If those close to the situation see an overwrought grieving mother flinging accusations, they might feel like it's better to leave it alone. Answering those accusations could be seen to lend legitimacy to them.

Kyron at the science fair. Which of course does look staged.

Lawyer of baby Lisa's family sets up a website

The affidavit just says the dog hit on the "floor." I'm beginning to wonder if LE wasn't intentionally vague in the affidavit for the SW because they didn't want to give away what the dog hit on.

But if there's no probably cause for the warrant, the search would be illegal and the court could suppress evidence obtain from the search. If the dog hit was completely fabricated (which I can't imagine it was) there might not be enough basis for probable cause.

Nancy Grace on HLN Now 10/14/2011

I don't think it's that strange that they said burglary in progress. I think the fact that the residence was broken into makes it burglary. The 911 operator might have asked JI if the person is still there and he said "I don't know."

The surveillance video-**identified** man and the box of wine

I know it's just speculations, but this would provide a scenario in which she didn't harm baby Lisa, but had a reason her timeline had gaps in it and she had trouble answering questions.

    MO - Lisa Irwin, 10 months, Kansas City, 4 Oct 2011 - #13

I was initially thinking this too. Like maybe there was something moved around the neighboring house they're now looking at. The problem is the subpoena is worded to ask for just footage of interviews. If they were looking for something in the background condition of the neighborhood, any...

    MO - Lisa Irwin, 10 months, Kansas City, 4 Oct 2011 - #4

This really strikes me too. It's got to be part of some strategy. They seemed to go out of the way for a long time to say how helpful the parents were, their stories didn't have holes etc. Then on a dime they turn and hold a presser to call them out for "not cooperating." The question is...

    MO - Lisa Irwin, 10 months, Kansas City, 4 Oct 2011 - #3

I think this would depend on what questions the police were asking. I think they may well have asked if the parents noticed anyone taking a particular interest in the baby or asking a lot of questions about the family and this might lead them to come up with a list of 9 that includes the...

CA - Rebecca Zahau Nalepa - suicide or murder? #11

I saw the version in the AR She saved him Can you save her How did the sister's version differ? The above version seems hard to square with both a suicide and revenge killing. If suicide, why would she refer to herself as "she"? If she isn't referring to herself, who could she be...

CA - Rebecca Zahau Nalepa - suicide or murder? #11

I've been following this case and have been on and off on the threads. I was just wondering if the message on the door has already been discussed. I haven't seen any discussion, but I haven't read every post up until now, so I don't know if I missed it. TIA.

ITA. My kids are not allowed to have facebook pages until they turn 13. I've said "we don't lie period." but the majority of their friends have been on facebook since they were 10, or younger.

Rebecca Nalepa - suicide or murder? #4

I can see having a fight starting with the bed wetting. When my kids went through that stage, it could get pretty tiring to have a kid wake in the middle of the night and need sheets changed. Maybe DS said something like "why don't you take a turn doing this? Why do I always have to do it?"...
