They know his name. We just don't know it. I guarantee from personal experience that in every one of these cases, there is so much more information than what is revealed to the public.

The remains were exhumed last year and matched this month. It does make sense considering how long some of these DNA profiles take to complete. I've seen them take up to 11 months.
Jay Joggerst has now been ruled out in both Gacy and Corll's cases. He went missing in 1972 with a girl who was later found alive in California. He's the same height as this UID.
Diabetes cannot be detected through autopsy but death from ketoacidosis can be detected (this was actually on my medicolegal final! Funny timing.) Randy’s mom was quoted in a newspaper article saying she felt he could not have lived long after being taken because he didnt have any insulin with him.
