    Trial Discussion Thread #52 - 14.11.9, Day 41 ~announcement of the verdict~

A few Twitter users cracked jokes about the finding that Pistorius was acquitted of murder. "What does England and Oscar Pistorius have in common? Looks like both will get away Scot free," said @HarryBedfont. User @Officialben_ said: "Now Oscar Pistorius has been found innocent I still don't...

Sorry, you guys are right. I shouldn't have bashed Masipa that way. I wrote that in the heat of the moment and should have given my post more thought. My apologies!

Unfortunately, Masipa threw out Mrs Stipp's testimony because Masipa thought she must have been mistaken.

    Trial Discussion Thread #51 - 14.11.9, Day 41 ~announcement of the verdict~

OMG, I am still shuddering about Masipa saying that if a person wakes up with a silhouette hovering beside their bed, it would be excusable and reasonable if the person shot and killed the silhouette person!!!

Thank you so much for the clarification! I still suspect that she might only give him a fine for the illegal bullets though.

She will find him not guilty on the shooting through the sunroof, but guilty for the Tasha's incident. This will only carry a fine. And apparently she will find him not guilty on the possession of illegal ammunition too because she mentioned today that "the caliber of ammunition that was used...

Masipa places more credence on security guard story that all was fine outside OP's house, than neighbour hearing argument. WTF???????????????????
