IMO, one of two things is true.
Either:
a. They have found the location which they believe Brittanee was held in
b. They have eyewitnesses that place Brittanee alive in McClellanville in the days following her disappearance
I have not listened to the presser but I've read all your posts.
I...

FBI to announce $25k reward for info on Brittanee Drexel among other things. Official news conference at 1 pm

Trafficking has always been a possibility but not one I've ever entertained wholeheartedly. What you say is true though - what if when FBI said they have used age progression images to identify Brittanee it WASN'T bad reporting? Slip of the tongue? And a completely way way way out on a limb...
I apologize to the person who said this originally, I cannot locate the post. Someone on here mentioned that it's possible that Brittanee's remains have been disposed of in such a way that she is not able to be recovered. Ever since that post I've been listening to every word that comes out in...
Just thinking out loud here. Aside from being a "here's where we stand on this case" type of update, IMO I also get the vibe that they will be releasing information on tips they have received over the years (and possibly even news tips) just so the public has all of that information. I recall...
Could be. That news would certainly be classified as grim. But then that begs the question why the U.S. Attorney's office is gearing up for a trial. Sure, some individuals are calling into question that particular journalist's credibility (to which we will have answers in 5 hours!), but at this...
I agree to some extent, however I also am on the boat that anyone talking about Brittanee and shining light on her case is important. Not everyone is like us here at Websleuths - some people have probably forgot about her case or do not know that she is still missing. Regardless of what is...
CD posted on his Facebook that he interviewed with the reporter I linked to earlier. I asked him on Twitter when we can see his story. His response:

Also from this article, and apparently having escaped my memory, was that Brittanee was blind in her right eye. I wonder if she was approached from the right and - literally - did...
I don't know. I flip-flop on this topic. I stated in the beginning that I didn't think it would be groundbreaking news and that I thought it would be more of a "here's where we stand" type thing. However, what you say is true. I don't think they'd bring them down unless they had to. In this case...
