I could not find much about her home life either other than the fact her immediate family was trying very hard to find her and they were a couple of articles mentioning her brother I believe who is very upset when Robert was killed by law-enforcement because they would never know for sure...

I don’t disagree that that is a possibility but with the concern from her family and the circumstances around her disappearance it doesn’t seem that way. It seems that she had a normal home wife went to the store and disappeared leaving her car. I mean what was she 16? I don’t think her family...

Not to my knowledge but I am just now kind of reading up on him. He seemed to stick to patterns. “Always in Thursday’s. And always soon after dark..”. Used a badge to coax his victims to trust him. But beside that he was killed in 1978 I think.

She would have been missing for two years and that would really fall outside what Robert Hohenberger did with the other girls. If he was in fact her killer.

Also the sketches they were working from were not very accurate. As far as I'm concerned until Carl went to work on it there was not a very believable reconstruction of what she would have looked like. I am guessing they would have the PM pics also....but not sure how well that would assist as...

Correct @daisy6441 and The assumption I was making was that she was well taken care of and did not have the appearance of someone that had lived a hard life on the road...or homeless...definitely not for any long period of time. so they probably assumed this girl would be reported missing and...

Yea I think that LE probably assumed from her appearance (an attractive, well maintained teen) that there was not going to be a huge problem finding her family or id'ing her. once they realized that it was going to be a problem the evidence became much more valuable but at that point it was too...

I hope this is her year too. Thankfully, I think that it is more for closure for us here than anything else.. Where she is she has her name...resting peacefully in Gods arms.

It’s strange that you say that I have thought the exact same thing. From the lack of information the lack of reporting and some pieces of evidence mysteriously disappeared “necklace” it does seem something is strange.

Whoever it was and why they did it...I wish I could have about 15 - 20 minutes to “visit” with them. As in many cases....I’m a parent and the though of her getting beaten and hurt. Knowing that not one person was looking for her it was going to hop in to save her. She must have felt pretty...

I read the exact same thing and that was my reaction my jaw kind of dropped a little bit along with my heart. I live not too far from Huntsville in Montgomery and travel through there pretty often. Definitely possible if he was in the Houston area at the time he could’ve done this. We don’t...

I have always wondered how much they looked into the car also. The scenario that she remained with that person and was possibly asking directions to the prison for that person is intriguing to me. And makes a lot of sense. Especially since she was never seen carrying any bags or a purse. It...

I agree it would be nice to have some closure as far as the killer goes but if he was a drifter and a killer I seriously doubt it would shed much light on her identity.
