    Elisa Lam - What Happened?

They are not experts at diagnosing someone from just a video with no audio and no other surroundings. To say that someone is "probably" sleepwalking/having a psychotic episode/on drugs, is the modern day equivalent to what you just said. Scientific knowledge is about forming hypotheses which...

The Elevator Video: What's your take?

You see, the problem with all these "experts" is that they only see what they have experience in. None of these experts have any experience in interpreting hand gestures in a video with no sound, and such a narrow angle. A psychiatric nurse who sees many psychotic patients a day, will...

    Hotel Cecil Rooftop Access Discussion

Another "expert", this time a "club-drug expert". And guess what his conclusion is? surprise, surprise. Another example of Maslow's hammer.

Housekeeping might have destroyed some clues.

    Elisa Lam - What Happened?

If she's never had psychotic episodes before, she likely didn't have one in the elevator. She was only talking to her "invisible friend", outside the elevator - not inside, which would suggest there was someone there. The only "proof" of psychosis is an elevator video with no audio and limited...

Is there something someone experiencing psychosis wouldn't do?

    The Water Tanks

The outtake pipe couldn't be at the very top of the tank, unless there was a hose coming out of it. If it were at the top, the tank would always have to be 100% full, and water would leak from the lid, unless it were sealed tightly. Maybe there's a pipe coming out from the side near the top.

    The Water Tanks

There's a pipe near the bottom though. I don't think it's feasible to have the outtake pipe at the top. Ë®ÏäÌØд_ÔÚÏßÊÓƵ¹Û¿´_ÍÁ¶¹ÍøÊÓƵ Ë®ÏäÌØд

    Elisa Lam - What Happened?

If Elisa disappeared in the evening though, would that mean the maintenance person was off work at the time?

    Elisa Lam - What Happened?

Her body maybe, but her eyes may tell a different story, which we can't see clearly. I doubt even forensics investigators can see if there was someone there or not, as you can't see her eyes. Could be she was talking to herself too. There may be more people with strange mannerisms, than there...

    Elisa Lam - What Happened?

But the person could be standing over near the washrooms, there would be no shadow cast. There's definitely no person physically present 2 feet away from her, but there could be further out. So you can't be sure that there isn't someone out further, where their shadow can't be seen by the...

Don't think so, otherwise she'd go to her right.

What Do You Want to Know?: List Questions Here

But if we conclude that the body is what caused the low water pressure, wouldn't that mean the body was blocking the pipe? -- meaning she wasn't floating when they found her. Unless it was her clothes - or something else.

    Hotel Cecil Rooftop Access Discussion

I would tend to agree with you, but the Chinese investigators tried it and they said it was locked. I don't think they had a reason to lie, but they may not have pushed hard enough.

    Cause and Manner of Death

I'm thinking there was some sort of trauma, but they can't tell if it's from being in the tank, or from a murderer. If the body caused low water pressure, then it must have got stuck against the pipe. Maybe the body got tossed around in the tank or hit the pipe several times, before finally...

What Do You Want to Know?: List Questions Here

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. What kind of turbulence is there in a water tank, and how strong is the suction from the pipe? Is it enough to make a body toss and turn? Maybe the body got sucked to the pipe multiple times causing physical damage - which may have prevented the coroner...

    Hotel Cecil Rooftop Access Discussion

A rooftop door isn't necessarily an emergency exit though. The rooftop was inaccessible during 9/11. But yeah, I read in a newspaper article that rooftop doors are supposed to unlocked in LA, not sure if this is true though. If so, then they really need to keep the water tank lids locked to...

What Do You Want to Know?: List Questions Here

Things I'd like to know: -time of the video -what time she was last seen -what floor she lived on, and any experience anyone had with her at the hotel -location of her clothes -what she was doing on the 14th floor -occupants of the 14th/15th floor -any history of psychosis, sleepwalking, etc...
