Thanks Angeline.
I was also wondering if anyone can identify where some of the clothing might have been bought? Or the season it was being sold? I have a daughter but she doesn't have any of these items. The tutu is distinctive...
I think he came from South Australia.
We travel past Tailem Bend all the time, and on to Victoria and New South Wales. I always find myself wondering how many bodies are out there. Perhaps it's that it reminds me of Truro, scrubby bush where all those girls lay dead for so long before they...
It still seems to me it could be possible...God, I hope not. "Tin Can Bay" jumped out at me when I saw the QPS Facebook story about this because Chloe's mother went to school there.
ETA just read it's been confirmed not related. Very happy it's not Chloe, but sad for whomever they are.
Is it just me or is that car incredibly snug to what appears to be a fence? How would the driver get out, remembering we drive on the right in Australia?
Or could the line be crime scene tape? Bad photo unfortunately.
I'm just thinking his older daughters might come across this thread...whilst it's natural to wonder about the "why", I think we need to be careful about unintentionally saying anything that might add to their grief.
Hey I just looked at a map, since I don't know Sydney so well. I wonder if it's significant that if you follow the events, the seem to lead Nick toward home if I'm not mistaken. Redfern, then the car in Hampden Avenue, Cremorne, then the bank withdrawal in Brookvale...and doesn't he live in...
I've been following this closely, too, and have had a few thoughts...all pretty random at the moment.
The fact that Nick sent an SMS basically telling his wife not to expect him and then left early suggests that either he was up to something secretive, or alternatively he may have sent that...
No I haven't, sorry Belara. I'm on maternity leave at the moment.
I do note, however, the AFP are now focusing attention on this case for Missing Persons Week.
I found your comments about the husband interesting.
I'll be curious to see what the Coroner made of it all. Shame the inquest was done so long ago - not online. Hoping we keep copies in the law library at work. Given it's public record, should be available there or through Coroner's Court I figure.
Short of RW's remains turning up, a deathbed confession or someone else coming forward who knows what happened, I agree...sadly. Makes me furious this woman and her poor family have had no justice.
I get the distinct impression the problem with this case is no body and not enough evidence, even if detectives had a strong idea what happened to RW :(
Good question. Although perhaps if an inquest is held and an official finding made you can. Just going to see if it says when estate settled.
Looks like estate was settled in 1992. So after Coroner makes his findings she is declared legally dead perhaps, and estate distribution can proceed...
Maybe because coroner's findings from 1991 inquest that she was most likely dead?
Presumably she must have been declared dead for her estate to be settled.
Same middle initial but I think our DMW would have to be 60-70+. I wondered because I think both had links to WA but I doubt it. Zynga seems to be a gaming company, and our DMW was some kind of researcher (maybe social worker?)
There is also a reference to a woman same name as our missing...
Other writings beyond that re violence against women and sex offenders.
I also looked at home address and last recorded sighting.
Renata was said to have walked out of the family home after am argument in her pjs and bare feet. One article mentions it was a cold rainy night. Rainy, but...
