I've gew up in Lafayette, I've been thinking that this is probably a mid 30's male who works off shore. Probably in the oil field in some respect. Lafayette is an oil city, everyone seems to be involved in one way or another to oilfield jobs. Anyhow I'm getting off track. My point is that these...
Just a little tip that my mom told me a long time ago. I believe she took a self defense class and the police man showed them a picture of a city street and a picture of a creepy desolate forest. Where would you rather die? He told them that if someone ever tries to threaten you with a gun or...
Yeah it wouldn't have been thrown off, this is the exit, you drive around then launch your boat right there. It seems strange to put the bike right there, with the holiday weekend there would be a ton of boaters to find it.
This is the street view from where the pic was found. I was at the wrong exit.
In the press photo, it seems all of the cars are parked right here at the boat launch. I don't know...why ditch the bike right there? It's so easy to be found.
His offense date was 1998, I lived right by one of his victims in 2002-2003 (yoder) and I remember they were looking for him him when I lived there. He was first arrested at age 17 for peeping in windows.
Derek Todd Lee was an offender http://www.icrimewatch.net/offenderdetails.php?OfndrID=571157&AgencyID=54068
I guess when your hands are tied and you really don't have anywhere else to search, you just go for the only options.
Is it ok to give a link? I didn't know if it was against the rules or not

I found a RSO that lives along that road , he has a white 2008 ford f250 and was last verified 5/23/2012 (it looks just like the truck) I wonder if they have already looked at him? That would have been this past Wednesday.
I just tried to call the tip line but cant get through
I really would like to suggest and possibly try to get a search together for a back road down there. Once I was on Highway 190 and got routed
onto an 18 mile levee road, when I finally got off of this hell road I ended up at that boat launch. I was by myself and had my son with me, I was...
Glad my photoshop skills can be of use somewhere ;) I usually don't have time to participate in the forum because I work so much. This nice 3 day weekend is giving me some time to sleuth! My husband just keeps on looking in my office shaking his head.
See attached, if you go back a couple of pages we were talking about this last night. There are a couple of different thoughts about what people thought was going on. It was taken at about 224 St Landry St.
