Exactly! We bought two of the infant car seats, and two of the toddler seats. Not only are they a pain to install, it's convenient to have one in each vehicle!
Correct. I had the same car seat for my youngest. Chicco Key Fit. I just pulled out the owners manual, and it clearly states Max weight = 30lbs Max height = 30 inches. Cooper was def too big for an infant seat.
But the windows were not that tinted. Looking at photos of the car, I could clearly see into the back through the windows. Someone walking by would've noticed.... If they were paying attention. In today's busy world, not a lot of people pay attention to their surroundings while walking.
Someone stated on the last thread about JRH stated HD was a Fortune 50 company. HD is a Fortune 500 company. https://corporate.homedepot.com/ourcompany/didyouknow/pages/default.aspx
He didn't fit! The straps were on the lowest setting.... The newborn setting. Cooper was an average size 22 month old. Just look at his photos! How JRH even got the straps to buckle on that strap level is beyond me.
Cooper was way too big for that infant carrier. What kills me, JRH had to have known, because in the search warrant, it states straps on infant seat were at lowest setting for the smallest child. My girls both had that exact seat, and the lowest setting is for newborns. I don't see how the heck...
And if you read the search warrants, it says during the investigation, JRH kept telling people (I assume LH) how to go about filling for Coopers Life Ins Policy.
Good golly! When she sat him down and said, "did you say to much?" Ugh! Those would not have been my first words! They would've been something like, "what the $&@? Have you done? I think she is just as guilty. She def knows something.
More than likely, I would've been handcuffed today if my husband was in court for harming our child! As a matter of fact, I'd probably be in jail for trying to harm him the day it happened.
I do the same every time I park! I glance at each car I pass to make sure no kid or dog is locked in the car. Have called in on several dogs, but thankfully no kids.
