MN - Philando Castile, 32, shot by police officer, 6 July 2016 #1

There are plenty of countries where resisting arrest is immensely unlikely to result in your death. And those countries have not descended into being chaotic and dangerous places. And everyone does not fight the cops. And cops have not stopped making arrests.

    TX - Terri 'Missy' Bevers,45, murdered in church/person in SWAT gear,18 Apr 2016 #32

I suspect that the person left the sensor range at about 1.38 and then the camera/video restarts when the person returns to sensor range. In between they turned a helmet light on, if that's what it is.

    TX - Terri 'Missy' Bevers,45, murdered in church/person in SWAT gear,18 Apr 2016 #32

I suspect the jumpiness is related to the motion sensors on the camera, jmo, I don't know how much movement is required/how quickly the cameras drop out without movement or the sensor ranges so it's completely my opinion.

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

Yes......but (without starting an argument) I've also seen photos of young Americans with guns that seemed odd to me but which were most likely innocent (for comparison). We don't really know anything about the brother do we?

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

Hmm, yes, so unless he's really confused he would have found his way home by now. Is the Canadian Mykhaylo (Misha) Bazelevskyy? He seems to have last been seen on the Promenade I think, sadly. The article suggested he had used Snapchat at a location 10 minutes from the site - no mention of...

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

If you're just looking at those Twitter feeds and not reading the French I wanted to make sure you know that when you see the word retrouvée - that person has been located and is alive - I think the direct translation is only 'found' but it's always been a positive 'found' so far - I'm not sure...

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

How strange, so he definitely made it 10 minutes away from the scene? Did his phone die and he was lost? How long could he stay lost for though unless he was also injured in some way?

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

'Radicalisation' offence but not terror offences? I wonder if that information's been translated correctly...

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

The people of Raqqa are worth less? Their families would be unaffected? I think I'm done here.

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

And there's your problem with the enemy living AMONGST civilians. Do you wish to massacre as many people as you can who simply live in the wrong place?

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

Oh wait, the US are already in there with Special Forces, maybe Assad doesn't mind the distraction they bring to ISIS... http://foreignpolicy.com/2016/05/27/u-s-troops-participating-in-offensive-near-raqqa/ So Raqqa is being bombed, US Special Forces are in there, possibly also British...

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

You realise that Raqqa is already being bombed, right? More bombs or bigger bombs are not a magical solution. Personally I think it would be smarter to get the whole world's most elite soldiers and send them in en masse to hunt them down. Of course then you have the minor issue that you're...

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

Well, they're probably not going to do Hiroshima/Nagasaki again. Avoiding these things where possible (as opposed to 'cowboy') is really more preferable.

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

Raqqa is full of civilians, and ISIS rule over them. This is the problem with fighting ISIS. They're not a sovereign state, borders are fluid, they're here and there and in between them are civilians who want nothing to do with them either. If you bomb Raqqa you need to know that you're killing...

FRANCE - Truck drives into crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, 2016 *Guilty*

From looking through photos and names of the missing it's obvious that there are going to be Muslim victims. Muslims out celebrating Bastille Day.

Fire in a fireworks truck, technical issue, probably smoke from other fireworks too. I closed where I read that but I'll keep an eye out for a source.

I do have to say that the US has always given me the impression that you guys spend too much time and effort on the genetic expression of skin pigmentation. Maybe that's something to look into.

76% reduction in homicides, 69% reduction in firearm assaults. And people still want to complain. You're reducing these young people being given redirection, mentoring and opportunities in life to "other criteria - like not killing anyone". I don't quite understand what the problem is.
