Thanks for that refresh diagram HFH. So there was screaming before, during and after the shots, just have to establish who was screaming. Burger is adamant a woman and man voice, the other witness says she heard a woman screaming but her husband who was directly opposite the house on their...

Stromm, talking about the lack of urine in the loo, don't think there has been mention of there being no urine, the could have been but it would be difficult to prove exactly when it was deposited there whereby stating that her bladder was empty, it's easier to surmise she emptied it shortly...

He said that after he shot at the door, he ran back to the bedroom shouting at Reeva to call authorities, when there was no response and he realised she wasn't in the bed...it "dawned" on him that it may indeed have been her in the loo. But like Stromm mentions earlier, this statement seems to...

We don't have the same type of houses as Americans...ours are made of solid brick. We don't have that funny fluffy stuff I see that is between your walls and interior walls made of wood that I see when I watch extreme home makeovers haha :p ...if my kids etc are in their bedrooms and talking, we...

I need to go over the original statement of OP from the bail hearing as it's been a long time since I read it but think I recall it went something like OP bashed door with bat, reached in for the key and unlocked the door. It was on the floor. In earlier discussions it was debated wether Reeva...

I did hash this out in a previous thread last year but a lot of families in SA have a various array of weaponry in their bedrooms and about the house. I myself have a machete next to my bed and we have pick axe handles/hammers etc stragically placed around the house for protection (hidden).My...

Hahaha, you lucky you didn't break your hand! :p Anyhow, a cricket bat is pretty solid and I can only imagine the amount of adrenalin powering through OP possibly gave him considerable power kwim?

Thank you but I really struggle with Afrikaans, I have an Afrikaans colleague who confirmed for me so will decline lol, but when I see or hear about discrepancies among SA who are following, will definitely point them out for you all.. Afrikaans is not currently a "popular" language here, we...

But this was only heard by the witness across the road, Burger mentioned nothing about hearing screaming this year nor any disturbances, possibly being because of the newly built up houses. Please note the interpreter made quite a few errors and was not very clear translating. One example I...

Voices woke her up so she was asleep. I would imagine they would get the timing right, also, roughly same time of year so weather conditions would also be similar.

Yep, cant quite believe it myself after the initial balls up in the beginning with Botha and yesterdays efforts. The way an interpreter translates Afrikaans has to be absolutely correct else the entire meaning of the sentence can change.

I don't think this witness is going to hold up as well as Burger. Shane, looks like she lives directly across the street and I think we are going to have conflicting reports here as to who/when/where was screaming etc.

She lives in the estate next door to OP estate, she called the security office of her estate to report something happening in the estate next door. Thats how I understood it :)

Whaaat???? Surely he will be called, he was a responding officer and one of the first on the crime scene?? And Im sure Roux mentioned in his opening statement something about contaminated crime scene? (haven't read the statement myself admittedly). Will see if I can find info. Yep, just saw...

Very interesting I also thought. He mentions at "THAT" time so imagine maybe her number might have changed in the interim.

Just wait until Hilton Botha takes the stand, Roux will rip him a new one and it wouldn't surprise me if he tries to get a large amount of evidence inadmissible because of crime scene contamination and just plain incompetence. That being said, I can only imagine Roux is holding some kind of...
