I just think he was so stinkin handsome. His eyes seemed so kind. I really hope he wasn't in hiding for a nefarious reason. I doubt he used the names elsewhere, since trail names are given by fellow hikers & it seems he had only been known to other hikers in the last year or so.

Sadly it would seem his name was removed from ECT spreadsheet. He is listed on the Florida Trail site for 2018 as ECT as well though.

He was apart of ECT (Eastern Continental Trail) class of 2018, even listed on the site. Everyone else has their actual name listed except him.

From the hiking groups I joined, an alias isn't normally used at hostels and such. Most knew other hikers names but used their trail name.
