I really don't think Hope even knew what she was pleading. I am not sure, but the way she talked it seemed like her lawyer told her to plead that way and it wasn't her idea. When her mom brought it up on the phone she said her lawyer plead that way and then asked her mother what she should have...- Nixie

I think who she was involved with had a lot to do with her sentence. She had priors, then the phone call, but on top of all of that they knew it would be all over T.V. and the web. They can release the information because she talked to her mother about it. A call couldn't be public, or used against her if it were with her att. I am not sure what she ment, but from her reaction on the phone with her mom , she said she really wasn't paying attention to what her lawyer was saying...which shows she really can't be to concerned about it. I know in Mi they will take money sent to you to pay fines. My friend was in jail and iirc if he got more then 50$ in his account a month they would take it twords his fines. Before he could get off parole his fines and parole charges had to be paid. I think it can depend on which state you are...- Nixie
