So who was also at SA's mom's house to "alibi" him that day? I would guess they will blame it on them if there were images viewed/downloaded while he was there.

Or can LE tell who actually logged in at a specific time, say per their password, etc?

If I remember correctly, it was his uncle, the father of the cousin C, who makes the films with him. Correct?

How much time would it take to download over 108,000 images?

We don't know if the images were downloaded to the computer, or if they were in the hard drive.
It doesn't take much time to click on pictures, just to look at them.
The images on the memory stick were downloaded from the computer. They were probably special to Shawn and he wanted to save those.

I'll bet it was a thumb drive, not a memory stick.

SA had a laptop computer of his own. It was also taken as per the affadavits.

I would imagine the laptop was used for viewing images and videos from the memory stick.

deviant can mean so many things and Texas is a pretty conservative state so I wouldn't jump to too many conclusion until they say what it was.....I am not sure why they even released this info without anything to go with it....Its really not telling people anything about Hailey or what happened to her, just making people in the case look bad! If there is nothing on the computer or the USB that shows Hailey or other children it really isn't evidence. Its just another thing for the police department to put out their distracting people from the fact that this poor little girl hasn't been found! They should have taken the case more seriously from the begining and maybe they would have gotten some real evidence.

Me too. I find that number astounding. I am sure the mother knew about it as she used the computer. Very weird to have that on a shared computer.

I haven't read through all of this thread yet but I'm not surprised at the find. He's a young guy and likely there will be *advertiser censored*. However, the nature of the *advertiser censored* could make me worried. If there is sexual sadism acted out that meshes with his obsession with horror movies, then I'll get really worried. He seemed to have wanted an increase the level of violence in the video games he played and movies he watched. I'll be really worried for Hailey in that case. And I'm really sure he's the one who took Hailey. His fantasy life may have crossed over to real life. JMO

I was wondering the same thing..Wonder where Shawn's mom was while it was being downloaded.. (assuming of course that it's Shawn's deviant *advertiser censored*)..Also wondering if this had anything to do with his mom needing to get the computer back all of a sudden? Surely she didn't think LE was going to hand it back without gathering all the info it contained...

They had to release it because it was requested under the Freedom Of Info act.

I always took the memory stick to be something for a digital camera. Lots of them take them (used like an SD card). Camcorders, some cell phones etc. take them as well.

With it being confiscated from BD's bedroom, I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut that the pornographic images on that stick were umm...shall we say of the personal or homemade variety. We all know the relationship the past several months has been awesome.

Does anyone remember the numerous comments that Billie made on NG about how LE had her phone and Hailey couldn’t call her because LE had her phone. It seemed that Billie was attempting to manipulate LE into giving her back this phone. Billie tried to spin this as Hailey would only call her and not 911 or anyone else if she escaped her abductor. Anyone want to bet that there are numerous deviant photos also on Billies’ phone?

Yes they can. They can tell when they were uploaded and when was the last time they were viewed.
