    CA CA - Bob Harrod, 81, Orange County, 27 July 2009 - #16

Oh I figured that! I meant that on the show Disappeared, their set looks nearly identical to Bob's actual house, except I think they had a different model Camry! They did a good job on the show of making their set looks like Bob's house. sreshowtime, if you backed a car into the garage you...

    CA CA - Bob Harrod, 81, Orange County, 27 July 2009 - #16

Why is that? I just have to say kudos, Disappeared...they do a darned good job with their sets, that looks nearly identical to the house actually on the show! ETA - just have to add that if he was taken out in a box, and this is morbid, I'm sorry, it would be easy to "scatter" his body parts...

    CA CA - Bob Harrod, 81, Orange County, 27 July 2009 - #16

Finally got to catch Bob's episode on Disappeared. I've chimed in a while back but now I'm a little more knowledgable. Just saying...if my dad had a trust for me, as a grown adult, I would be grateful...not bothering him about details of it, and getting in a big fight with my dad over it. I...

VA VA - Kathleen Haley, 37, Newport News, 1 Sept 2012

I am with you. Virginia is a huge state and for the majority of missing women cases to be from there is odd.

IL IL - Paul Fronczak, newborn, Chicago, 1964 + UID Male, 1, NJ, 1965

What a wild story. Hopefully Paul figures out who he really is. You all have some good leads!

Possible matches for UID Longview, TX woman

I took that statement to mean that FLEK told doctors she was 35, but the detective on the case didn't believe that (as opposed to the doctor/s saying that) she was actually 35 at that time.

I would assume a "strongbox" has a lock. There's really no way to snoop without that person knowing.

    402 months, 40+, 40.2

    Nobody says "402" months.

Another thread of thinking. Could FLEK have walked through a graveyard, noticed the gravestone and then done some digging? I think sometimes when tragedies like this happen, the family or children get buried together. If the gravestone said they all died on the same day, she could've been...

Ah thank you that makes a little sense. But I agree...perhaps there was a follow up obit. Maybe a newspaper article? Maybe FLEK knew of the family. Maybe she worked at a records office and just stole the certificate? That might account for her knowledge of name changes and the like.

It is pretty darn easy to look at an obit and learn a birthdate, especially if the child was young as the obit usually says "our daughter brought into this world on May 5, 2005" and so forth.

Keep in mind Lori is also a more generic name (I can say that because mine is too). It is easier to blend in. If her name was "Cassandra-Lynn Lyons" for example that is more memorable...and when you are trying to blend in generic wins.

TX - 'Lori Ruff', Longview, WhtFem UP9863, *General Discussion and Theories* #1

To my knowledge Lori was a common name in the 70s and 80s. Family names are not uncommon. My name is my grandmas and my middle name is my aunts middle name...and we have more Chris' as well!

    Lori's Occupations

I don't see her as a stripper either? Maybe she bartended or waited tables at a strip club? Or perhaps maybe was some sort of fetish dancer? Most dancers are tall but she strikes me as kind of gangly and awkward. I think she's pretty but not stripper material.

    Marfan's and other syndromes

Agree. Many times in retrospect you see things differently. Now that the family knows something was up with her they could be seeing all these things that weren't really true...or embellishing them.

    Texas addresses

Agreed. But on the other hand could be one of those things where it might be difficult to track your lies. "Did I tell my MIL we grew up in a Colonial or a Craftsman style house?" "Where did I say I went to elementary school?"

    The Letter of Reference

I agree with your analysis except for one thing...it is very, very hard to change your signature, especially one that appears so different from LEK's. Everybody do an experiment. Pick a name out of thin air and try and forge a signature that doesn't look one thing like your handwriting. Can...

Definitely a possibility. Also keep in mind that LEK could've very well destroyed those pages before committing suicide. She also could've left the notes page as a sort of red herring. Maybe I'm watching too much Prison Break but the notes could be little scribbles meant to jog her memory...

    FLEK: Arizona backstory?

A lot of people have no intentions of getting married or have given up on love and it comes along. Love derails many plans!

Thank you! Someone just mentioned it and I didn't know who. Yeah kind of an uncommon name. I'm sure they've been interviewed though correct? Not that all witnesses/ people are honest.
