Prosecutor brought up and "quoted" transcript of that interview on cross so they could have played it to prove what was said. So defense not bringing it up on direct excuse is squashed. Prosecution could have played it.
With all due respect - criminals lie to their attorneys all the time. Personally, I believe he is guilty but I like to play devil's advocate and think "what is the jury thinking". I see so many holes in the states case I mean like just not complete. Does the jury? I'm an over thinker too.

totally agree. IMO not hard to see the states Offer being no deal unless you give us George. And JW saying only if you take the DP off for all will I do that. That's how I can wrap my brain around JW and AW saying George there if he wasn't - to save his life in other words.
Oh I agree he was enmeshed and guilty of conspiracy with his family on tons of other crimes. It was admitted on the stand. But, we must not allow prior acts sway opinion on this act. IANAL so just my uneducated thoughts.

As to drugs, I mean the rumors and all and the back lash about the Rhodens as drug kings - not safe for SW due to the drugs and trafficking. The Wagners and carters were also trafficking and selling and also ON drugs and autopsies proved none of the Rhodens except Gary had any drugs or alcohol...
