Agree. I've been thinking the last few days that we need new information. Everyone here cares and is hungry for real information. I think that is what we need to strive for, in whatever way is open to us in our particular fields. I really hope we can unearth something. I for one am going to try.
As far as transportation, I have a question. Would a dirt bike fit in a car? A van? Could the perp have gotten away quickly along the creekline and gotten to his parked car, parked where it wasn't going to be seen? I saw a kid the other day on a dirt bike and realized how versatile they are on...
I think they left in it. It was really raining hard; I remember that morning, as I was up. Probably did go a little ways in a private car and take it off. If it turns out they are Reserves, they just went on home. This area of Texas uses a lot of reserve officers/fire fighters--even volunteer...

Yes, I am local. I can't say much, but they thought that BEFORE the stolen guns. If you think about it, the perp had inside knowledge about the alarm system, etc. I think they are suspecting reserves.
You know what has bothered me about the bloody shirt from the beginning?? It's against "dry cleaners laws" to take items with body fluids on it. I know because once I tried to take a child's outfit that had a "poop" smear and they wouldn't take it. I guess the cleaners might have taken the shirt...
