Agree. I've been thinking the last few days that we need new information. Everyone here cares and is hungry for real information. I think that is what we need to strive for, in whatever way is open to us in our particular fields. I really hope we can unearth something. I for one am going to try.

The multitude of scenarios put fourth by CHUCKJ would be hilarious if the whole thing wasn't so sad:(

As far as transportation, I have a question. Would a dirt bike fit in a car? A van? Could the perp have gotten away quickly along the creekline and gotten to his parked car, parked where it wasn't going to be seen? I saw a kid the other day on a dirt bike and realized how versatile they are on...

I think they left in it. It was really raining hard; I remember that morning, as I was up. Probably did go a little ways in a private car and take it off. If it turns out they are Reserves, they just went on home. This area of Texas uses a lot of reserve officers/fire fighters--even volunteer...

First of all, I'd like to say, I don't "Know" anything! How can I explain this? The person/people I have talked to have all been very professional and confidential--they have not blabbed. What I "think I know" is more an extrapolation--does that make sense? I don't want to give anyone the wrong...

I'm sure I missed it and if so, please forgive me, but why did SP pull an INSIDE room window in? At first I thought they were going to make it easier to exit quicker but that isn't supposedly how they went out. It doesn't make sense! Sorry if I missed this from a prior post!

I think they knew there wasn't an alarm and knew exactly what to expect with regard to the cameras, hence the costume--JIMHO!

<modsnip> How long would it take to remove the bullet and take it with them? Do you think they PLANNED to do that? That seems time consuming in their little 15 minute window, IMHO. I would want to do it as well, but you would sure have to be cool as a cucumber to do that and then quickly clean up!

My gut feeling is they did it to hide something. I don't have anything to base that on.

Yes, I am local. I can't say much, but they thought that BEFORE the stolen guns. If you think about it, the perp had inside knowledge about the alarm system, etc. I think they are suspecting reserves.

Weren't we talking about SPs height before we got off on tiles??

You know what has bothered me about the bloody shirt from the beginning?? It's against "dry cleaners laws" to take items with body fluids on it. I know because once I tried to take a child's outfit that had a "poop" smear and they wouldn't take it. I guess the cleaners might have taken the shirt...
