I stumbled upon this thread tonight and spent a few hours reading the entire thing. Wow! I had never heard of Elfrieda Knaak before. There's no way that poor woman tortured herself to that degree. I just wish she could have given some names and details. :(
Ausgirl hasn't posted in here since...
I love Richard Simmons. He's such a great guy. I love to exercise, so I joined his web forum for a few months a couple of years ago. He hosts hour-long chats every Monday evening. He also mailed me an autographed photo in 2013. Anyway, his beloved dalmation, Hattie, died and he had a nasty knee...
I just saw this story on Dateline: Real Life Mysteries a couple of hours ago. I doubt Wendy will ever be found, but there's always hope. Bump for Wendy!
That video was also removed. "Free Darlie Routier" uploaded it on their channel over 2 years ago. Hopefully, that means it will stay up now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZcC0N9HZMM
Bump!
From October 2012: Wayne Treacy receives 20-year sentence in Ratley attack
I hope it's okay that I bumped this old thread. I was reading through it and noticed that last post was from April 2012, six months before Wayne Treacy was sentenced. Twenty years is not enough, IMO.
Bump!

I really hope...

That's why I'm here. I was looking at their "Charley Project" pages again and I had completely forgotten that they disappeared just days before their birthdays. Sheila's birthday is March 30 (in 5 days) and Katherine's birthday is March 29 (in 4 days). This is just such a sad case. :( I really...
Not all short names that are usually nicknames are nicknames. I knew an Alex who wasn't "Alexander," and a Greg who wasn't "Gregory." I'm guessing her first name really was Betty.
This case is very interesting to me because I've lived in Williamsburg, VA my whole life. (Thankfully not much happens here in our quiet town.) I was a child when the murders happened and I didn't learn about them until I was older. I spent many evenings on the Colonial Parkway in the late '90s...
I was 13 in 1992 when I first heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on the radio. I was obsessed with that song, and Nirvana. I played my "Nevermind" tape so many times I can't believe it didn't break. My friends and I called MTV to request the video every afternoon. :D
I was shocked when MTV News...
