Is there even a case against Baldwin?

Some interesting notes from the jury Jury Notes Especially juror 7 - Misskelley statement. And Carson's is laughable. Carson Subliminal message? LInk etc etc...

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I wasn't trying to make out the measurements were 100% correct, but it is the best attempt I have seen of doing as much.

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

There are respectfully snipped photographs of the ligatures with a ruler for scale. I really wish i could post the link to the blackboard but unregistered members won't be able to access it. I believe the person that made the graphs etc had more evidence (photographs) than we have or care to...

The supposed "evidence" against Mark Byers

Maybe it's just me, but that's one of the harshest accusations I have ever heard made to someone who is here only because they want justice for the three children and doesn't believe it was served. You've out done yourself.

Thought I'd add this on the topic of Jason's boots. Link And here is a good List of the evidence E-110 [a] Pair green lace up boots. Trace evidence j-16. [e] Q76 Boot, right. [j] Q76 Boot, right Q77 Boot, left [k] One (1) pair of green boots, labelled as J16. [q] Soil sample removed...

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

These exhibit numbers seem to double up. frustrating. Or maybe I'm reading them wrong. example: http://callahan.8k.com/images/ascl/ASCL_Trace_0629_10.JPG E-138 Shoe laces http://callahan.8k.com/images2/ascl/ascl_evidence_submission_12_22_93.JPG E-138 Wooden Stick

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

So there's this which Ud posted. and this Is it simply that ridge removed the laces from the tennis shoes? Or is there evidence which states it was in fact removed from his pockets?

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I tend to drift toward this bit of speculation. :twocents:

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I don't believe so, since it describes the tread pattern more than the actual shoe itself, any shoe with a tread pattern consistent with a tennis-type shoe is viable. The shoes listed K-102-111 Were all inconsistent. Link 1 Link 2

TBH I don't know what to make of it, they were collected a month after the murders, we could speculate all day. Is there any more documentation on them? were they submitted for testing? I can't seem to find any reports on them, still looking. Submitted on the 24th June:Link

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

Yes that's where they were being returned to. But they were still at the crime lab for roughly 15 years. Either way, I guess as Mrs G said, it could have just been an oversight. I wonder how many other pieces of evidence are sitting at the lab.

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

Going by this report it appears they were checked against the plaster-casts that were made from the crime scene, is there a list of what other testing was done with them? Surely this wasn't it, and I'm not suggesting it is.

    About the knife...

Listed on Callahan: Link State's Exhibit #42 (Knife) [MISSING] Is this just Callahan's method of tagging the exhibit, or is the knife actually missing?
  14. G

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

Anyone know the reason these were returned so late?
  15. G

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I have heard it being said. Or at least that a lace was missing anyhow.

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

Now I know you don't expect us to believe what is shown on a YouTube video and I could comment on a lot of things there, however, is there any documentation to show that Jason replaced his shoelaces after the murder? Which in itself isn't necessarily evidence of guilt but I will admit is suspicious.

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I believe from seeing the snipped photographs that you can still make out who had the aiglets intact which may help narrow things down, I don't believe a definitive account of the laces exists from what I've seen.

So glad I didn't click the link.

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I know Paid from the blackboard has done a lot of work with the laces, including graphs, overlays with measurements etc. I would post the link but I don't believe unregistered members can access it. It would be helpful no doubt.

    The Shoe Lace Bindings

I think I'll skip the picture, but yes, it would be interesting to know, it would have been even better if the documentation of evidence was to a higher standard, seems the norm for this case. And I don't think a knife is necessarily the only way to cut a shoelace in half, although it seems the...
