I feel like we are beating a dead horse here. Whether he blindsided the SCSO or not I'm sure his intentions were not to harm the investigation. I have watched families work with the SCSO before and IMO compared to other departments they are not the greatest communicators. Not that they are doing...

Both the Ember Graham case and the Hannah Garner case involved that area. Ember Graham was the 6 month old baby that was reported missing by her father then her father went on the run and was killed in a police shooting. She has not been recovered. Hannah Garner was a missing teen out of...

Another article discussing this is posted previously. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/human-traffickers-victims-branded-like-cattle-9763468.html

Hope this is ok to post here. An interesting article on human traffickers who mark their victims with brands that gives some possible insight. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/human-traffickers-victims-branded-like-cattle-9763468.html

So correct me if I am wrong but as an RN aren't you a mandatory reporter meaning when you witness injuries stemming from an assault you have to document them and turn them over to the proper authority? Meaning regardless of the victims wishes those records are available to LE?

I hope I am not getting myself in trouble here but IMO having worked cases in Shasta County Bosenco is not the best at dealing with the public. This tends to somehow often end up in victim blaming. IMO it was rampant in the Ember Graham case. I think that this could have been handled much...

I'm trying to get caught up here so pardon me if this has already been mentioned but KP did not say the abductors chopped off her hair. If she had injuries to her head it is very likely that the hospital staff cut her hair to evaluate and treat her injuries. I would IMO find it weird if they...

Far away from what? Where she was abducted? I don't think anything has said she was far away from where she was held captive.

I wasn't aware there were new ones created after she was found?

The thing is that they likely IMO of course weren't applied initially. They likely would have been applied once she made it to the place she was to be kept. I doubt they were used when she was abducted but rather throughout her ordeal. Hence the reason she was released with them, supposedly.

Right but how does she know that after being released by her abductors in the middle of the night? I'm sure she saw VERY few lights around that area.

You do have to cosnider she may not have had any idea where she was. If she broke into that church to set off the alarm would it take 2 minutes or a half hour for help to come. Not so sure screaming get for cops and making a scene would be on my top options list had I just been let go or escaped...

The more I think of this the more I think she was indeed blindfolded and also I'm feeling she was not far from where she was detained. This IMO makes sense as to why she would not want to go to those houses. The difference between a random house and random car is this, on the freeway there are...

Thank you. I wasn't aware it was from the abduction site. Still it could have been that it was prepared and ready to use but dropped in a struggle to put it on her or get her in the vehicle. Again, I think the abduction IMO would have happened very quickly with no time to stop and collect...

If they had asked for directions one would think she would be able to provide a better description. Also I don't think they would have wanted to linger knowing what they were preparing to do. IMO they drove up and before she knew what was happening she was in the SUV with something over her head.

Agreed, no reason to mirandize her unless they were taking her into custody or detaining her for committing a crime.

I don't believe that the Ballon release is very relevent. Often times when a missing person is recovered things are kept quiet even from immediate family simply because there is a lot to work out in those first hours. It's likely they didn't clear the scene immediately and by the time they did...

I don't think that matters. If you're remarrying it isn't required that you tell everyone you were previously married. A lot of people want to leave that part of their life behind for a reason IMO.

Also, I don't believe that they meant KP beat local sheriff's to the scene but rather he beat Shasta County there. No surprise IMO.
