I'm still stuck on the phone being found in Carroll County.

I surely don't know the ins and outs of this like many of you do, so don't even know if the location/time/facts would fit with this.. .but could he have GIVEN the boots to the barefoot man... and maybe the barefoot man wore them a while, but they didn't fit right, so he left them by the dirt...

This is one of those cases I won't stop thinking about....

I just read this article on my local news about a car that had been found w/ front end damage on a major interstate in Virginia (I85). There was no one around the car, but the driver, a 27 year old man, was found 2 miles away, deceased. Made me think of this case! Driver's body found miles...

I've not seen a media report yet, but on FB family states he's been found alive. That's all I know at this time. Praying for his family.

Back to the phone being found... if I remember correctly, it was found near Mt. Carroll, IL (on Rt 78???). If Mom was traveling between Wisconsin and Rockford, IL... What was she/the phone doing west of there near Mt. Carroll? Mt. Carroll and Rockford are NOT close to each other. Thoughts?

Here is a sad story about a couple killed in a car crash in the winter in Illinois. The woman left the car and went out into a field with snow on the ground, wearing a red dress. Despite searches for her, she was not found for a month. Journal Star

yes…. I remember a case just like you described some years ago. The gentleman was found in a construction porta potty on his jogging route. I’m sorry I don’t remember his name or the location.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I didn't see it. 61 year old Bruce Rubin, staying at Primland Resort in Patrick County Virginia, went jogging on Friday morning and never returned. 911 was called Friday night. Very odd. Jogger missing out of Patrick County

If I was going to meet up with someone for WHATEVER reason and ride w/ them.... I sure wouldn't leave my car at Walmart, much less where no cameras could see it.
