It's like there's 3 shower curtains and you've got to choose the right one to reveal the killer, but some of the clues change. There are so many possibilities at this stage, with only what we the public know so far. MOO: Maybe it was a serial killer in town for some other purpose and went...
I don't know the correlation between number of evidence pieces to success in solving crimes, but I definitely agree with you that the killer might not have been sloppy. LE could've said it to get a reaction from the killer(s).
MOO: Maybe he was over there so much, he might as well have lived there? As in, he practically lived there, so her father just called it that? eta: Whoops, @mickey2942 explained it much better than I did. E had his own residence, but it sounds like he was never there.
If they were all asleep from start to finish, why did the coroner say "some had defensive wounds..." (CBS) At least 2 of the victims would've been woken up by the attack in order to defend themselves, no? How else would they get those wounds? (edited for clarity)
I respectfully disagree on the interpretation of the coroner's statement [eta: the media did not highlight 'their' nor did it cover who was found in what room let alone who's bed]. It's not about possession, as in, who was in who's bed. I believe this statement to mean that 3 of the 4 victims...
Reposting the LE site dedicated to the case, as a refresher for questions about info that's been released, such as Murphy the dog. King Street Homicide
What happened to the dog? On the night of the incident, officers located a dog at the residence. The dog was unharmed and turned over to...
Yes! I can't recommend Gavin deBecker's books enough! When my son was in grade school, the father of one of his classmates started stalking me. He'd show up to our home at any hour of the day or evening. He'd stop his car as I walked along the street. He'd call all the time. I was so frustrated...
I only remember it b/c I watched one of the first interviews with the coroner, who answered to the positive when a reporter asked her if all the victims were in bed when it happened. She must have meant when it started? Like, one ?Ethan? got out of bed for some reason eta: hearing noise in the...
MSM originally reported that all were in bed, but later updated that.
CBS News:
Of the four University of Idaho students who were found stabbed to death in a rental house last Sunday, some were killed in their beds, the Latah County coroner told CBS News Friday.
Coroner Cathy Mabbutt would...
Why was the charge downgraded from 2nd degree? PTF allegedly stabbed HH multiple times in the neck.
CBC Nov 7:
A 22-year-old woman is charged with manslaughter after a fight early Saturday morning at the Crazy Cactus bar in Saskatoon.

Who was in that car when it went into the water? Who were in the cars that were in the area? Was Kiely dead before or after entering the water? Why didn't LE find her with multiple dive teams and 10,000+ manhours? Did LE check all cameras in the area in the early stages of the search?
What is...
Ok, I didn't realize they had better quality, thanks for clarifying! Yes, and how about the other car lights and so on... LE is very quiet on a lot of things. Let's hope we get a decent report on Nov 1!
It's vid of a car (eta: the headlights, it's too dark and far away to see the actual car), driving towards Prosser Creek Reservoir. The vehicle stops for a few minutes at one point, and the car lights dim... If you'd rather not search for it on the camera site, google it and you'll find clips of it.
It's alleged, nothing has been confirmed either way by LE as it's an ongoing investigation. Whether her parent/guardian was there or not is not relevant, as K was found on federal lands, near where the alleged party took place. Both Cali law and federal law and Eberlien's order state nobody...
California is 21 and over, from @Ixchel13 :
