Don't know if anybody will read this but - for those members on here who, like me, used to post regularly on the "Aliens" website, about the mystery of Falconio's disappearance - I have today discovered that the Aliens site has been taken down permanently. So all those posts, discussions and...

Hahahaha!!! :floorlaugh: I wish they'd go and have a look down that well! I'm surprised nobody has, given the publicity that its had!

I've been told this thread is closed, but it doesn't look like it to me!! Very odd! I must have been told wrong!

Ah yes, Atkins. The one and only... or should that be three and only??? I'd like to know the truth about him and the part he played in all this. And those snakes...

You'd think if you were going to the trouble of making this declaration that you'd make it sound a bit more believable. "Murdoch came back into the pub with blood on his boots"....

How much do you reckon Jedda really knew? Some aspects of his statement are nonsense, yet he went to all the trouble of tracking down this Father Macgillicuddy chap in Huddersfield to tell him his story. That seems like a lot of trouble to go to if you're nothing more than just a b/s artist.

Murdoch is a guy who runs his own drugs business and will be alert to all sorts of possible dangers, and wary of people’s behaviour. So – he kills Peter, then has a battle with Lees and the tape and the bag, shoves her into his van with its gap between the seats and an escape route...

GOOD POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why not attach her to the inside of the vehicle?? I hadn't thought of that one before!!! But yes - zip ties could be on in a flash!!

I've always been puzzled by a) the complexity of the manacles and b) the middle section which allowed a lot of movement by the wearer. If an attacker - Murdoch or anybody else for that matter - wished to arm himself with the necessary implements to restrain a victim, why did he need such odd...

Jedda's statement made interesting reading! Its possible some of it was exaggerated but I'm not sure how much! http://www.free-ebooks.net/ebook/FIND-FALCONIO-Dead-or-Alive/html/102#read

Don't you think it is odd that he did all this tidying up, - covered the pool of blood with soil, parked the kombi in the bushes before walking back to his own vehicle, took the body for disposal - all very calm and methodical - but only has a half hearted attempt at finding the main witness to...

I haven't made up my mind what happened but I do have a lot of doubts about her story. I'm not sure either how anybody would be able to lift a dead body into the back of a truck singlehandedly.

I can't seem to find a link. Don't know if anybody else can. Only this one which doesn't actually say Malouf admitted this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-126642/Did-Outback-Peter-fake-death.html

Ah yes...all the leap frogging all the way up the highway..all that waving and tooting....oh no that wasn't Malouf that was the other guy...I think...maybe...perhaps....:pullhair:

Does seem odd.... there's Malouf saying "That was me" "I was there" and yet police took no notice even though he fitted Lees description!! What a bunch of no-hopers!

Australia Australia - Peter Falconio, 28, Barrow Creek, NT, 14 Jul 2001

I've considered that Lees and Murdoch were in it together to get rid of Falconio - in fact one man, Geoffrey Atkins - says he was a witness to a discussion about this exact crime being set up for money! However, this all falls apart when you ask why Murdoch would allow himself to be imprisoned...

I'd agree that this is a possibility - but this doesn't mean he murdered Falconio at Barrow Creek. I don't think Falconio WAS murdered at Barrow Creek by ANYBODY - unless there were two people present to lift the body into the vehicle to take it away.

Acording to Lees, Murdoch parked the kombi FIRST and then drove off in his own vehicle (south). Pam and Jasper have the kombi still there on the roadside even though the ute is moving (in a northerly direction). Quite clearly the accounts of these three people don't match. Makes you wonder why...
