I kind of understand. To normal kids, this whole thing in the neighborhood SHOULD be very upset. I would maybe feel like he might be taking it a bit too personally but if he is mentally I'll/depressed, I wouldn't immediately be suspicious. And that's probably why I am not a member of LE.
