I am so thankful that the victim does not have to go through a trial. I listened to her victim impact statement on WMUR and she was eloquent and brave. I hope that she can piece her life back together.
I am from the vicinity and have followed this case since the victim disappeared. This is the...
Kibby is in the news again, charges against his threats to JY have been dropped.
http://www.wmur.com/news/threatening-charges-dropped-against-man-accused-of-kidnapping/37945276 but it doesn't effect any of the charges involving AH
My apologies if someone has pointed this out, it just struck me. I fell behind reading posts when I was on vacation.
It occurred to me that if I had killed someone, stashed the car in my junkyard, burned her body in my firepit, and a cop asked me if I could look around, I wouldn't...
IMO, the whole investigation into the burn sites was not done well, no photographs before being touched, (that we know of), no forensic expert in recovering this type of evidence, and the county coroner wasn't even allowed on site. I fear that the truth is lost forever, whatever it is...
The state of New Hampshire is also very tight-lipped with major crimes. (We are a small state, and major crimes are investigated by the state Attorney General's office). It is occasionally very frustrating, especially when trying to sleuth the high profile unsolved ones, but I prefer this...
I am undecided about whether or not LE tried to frame SA. I'm not convinced of his innocence.
But the kindest I can be towards LE is they completely botched the investigation and mishandled evidence to such an extent that I'm not sure there was a fair trial.
Do are we supposed to put what we think it said?
It's hard to make out,
at first I thought it was someone calling "Theresa!" But I listened again, and I think it was someone calling out. "Text her!"
If you think about it, it really isn't surprising that a key lying on SA's bedroom floor would have SA's DNA on it.....It would be more surprising if it didn't.
To me, the far MORE significant piece is that it did not have TH's DNA on it.
I was looking at the maps, trying to decide which was the more logical order for her to drive, and I realized it depends on where she was going afterwards.
Home?
Do we know her address?
Also, the other little piece that has been nagging in my mind is the fact that 3 days or so before TH...
I was struck by his stating how poorly done the evidence collection on the bones had been, in such a way that there was really no way to discern where the burn had happened.
Len Kachinsky's behavior is clearly morally and legally reprehensible. What I don't understand is how the judge/the court allowed the trial to continue with no protection of the rights of the accused. That is even more appalling to me, because it speaks of a systemic institutional issue. (I...
In addition to the claim that LE searched the junkyard without finding TH vehicle prior to it being found, in this video, the SA's lawyer at the time was complaining that LE was denying him access to his client. I thought that was interesting.
That makes me wonder if there were cars parked in front and in back of them, under what circumstances did the car get packed in between other cars. To me that's a detail that suggests whoever did it had the means to move cars around to pack it in tightly
So that brings me back to wondering how they happened to search the quarry, why they searched it, who found the quarry bones, and was that a burn spot?
That's interesting, and it can be taken in two different ways. (That I can think of)
1. BD's statement to police gave them a tip on looking for bones in the quarry. If this is true, then that doesn't bode well for either BD or SA
2. That like so many other parts of BD's statement, he was...
I haven't seen this in anything I've read..
How did the bones happen to be found in the quarry? Who found them and why were they looking in the quarry? Was the site the quarry bones found in a burn site, or just a random dumping of burnt materials that included the pelvic bone fragments...
