Remains found confirmed as Jacob Wetterling/Suspect led LE to Remains #2

Coming in from HWY33 is wrong. 1) It's not the "sewage pond road" circa 1989, or now. The other road was. 2) The distance to the "approach" would be > 500ft. and not "about 100 yards" as stated. 3) requires WAY more offroad driving (risking getting stuck) to get to the same spot that makes...

Most (competent) hunters shoot to site in before gun deer season. There's also a shooting range only about 1mile to the north - just west of 33. The ringing of shots there was not a big deal. At night.....farmers shoot coyotes, foxes, racoons too. I would bet that a large bomb could have been...

That is not a house. It's a garage. The other buildings (maybe even that garage) were not there in 10/22/1989. Granite Creations (nearest building to the East) was also not there.

Check old topo maps historicaerials.com Before 23bypass was built. In 1989 HWY33 was not the "sewage pond road". The rest of the details don't fit either if he starts by turning onto 33.

You can move the pin back towards site to that patch of trees that is there "now", if that makes you feel better. The gravel pit was anywhere on that side of the road away from the field. About same distance or less to the gravel pit as it was to get Bobcat, or move to 2nd burial site. All of...

OK, this is pretty good, except I'm pretty sure the sewage road ran straight from old23 at that time (so the 100 yards up that road to the approach is perfect then) -- but that really doesn't matter I guess. Another detail this map doesn't show -- is that the car was driven in and parked only...

You should make a real map -- showing the locations I posted earlier -- which were actually based on DH's testimony -- rather than just pindropping into the location of the old gravel pit.

Unfortunately, it doesn't make sense with the confession transcript. "Sewage pond road" is not HWY33. If he turns on HWY33 then --- Where is the "APPROACH to a FIELD"?, "about 100 yards down that road"?? And that APPROACH being "next to a GROVE OF TREES"??? Aerial photographs of the gravel pit...

    Suspect - Daniel Heinrich #2

RATHER THAN REASON What if.....Joy Baker had NOT contacted Jared and asked him, "are you the Jared I'm looking for?" What if.....Joy Baker had NOT brought renewed attention to the 1986-87 Paynesville attacks? DRIVEN BY EMOTION

    Suspect - Daniel Heinrich #2

I very much agree, but also appreciate that ----- SCSO made the decision on 02/09/1990 to not charge DH(already placed under arrest based on substantial evidence linking to JW and JS). When interviewed by the FBI he didn't crack as expected, and invoked his right of attorney. Also JS was...

Are there any copies of the Heinrich search warrants with handwritten receipts (pages 16-17 etc.) that can actually be read??? Those critical parts have been "BLURRDACTED" out of every copy I have seen so far.

Heinrich court transcript, Page 20 line 20 ([bracketed opinions], italics, bold, and underlines are mine) MR.SCHLEICHER: Okay. And where specifically in Paynesville did you go? THE DEFENDANT: I went to that -- when I got to Paynesville, before I got to Paynesville, I turned on the sewage...

To find the "HEART" http://www.historicaerials.com/ plug in the numbers. (45.386849, -94.695955) You will appreciate it way more - if you find it that way yourself. 1991 is a good year.

My guess - got bobcat @45.388167, -94.685600 and used it @45.387523, -94.692706 Trees at that location are map erased after 2010. There's also a large "HEART" feature present (satellite/aerial view) in the corner of HWY 33/old23.

Count the total # of horizontal tread lines for the prints in this photo (can you figure out how many per shoe?), and compare with the earlier pic ~Nike running shoes. Are the # of treads the same?
