Her bag was left in her own car outside the club they were in. They wouldn’t have known on the Sunday where the caravan was nor would they have been able to gain access to it.

I would be rather surprised if multiple police call handlers all refused to log a missing persons case. If the mum had made all these phone calls on the Saturday she’ll have proof on her phone so we shall see what comes out.

It’s far too early to say if the police or even the driver were at fault here. There will be a fatal accident inquiry and we shall see what comes out then.

He’s just trying to raise his profile. I live near a river that people sadly often end up in and I’ve never ever heard the volunteer searchers here speculate. They just quietly and respectfully get on with searching - sometimes for weeks.

Boy b dropped his appeal. I was quite surprised as I did think he had plenty of grounds to appeal. This article says he was risking being retried as an adult if he won the appeal and getting a much longer sentence which may well explain why he has dropped it...
