i feel that he killed Ember, wrapped her in something (blanket, etc) and put her in the back of the truck. He did not want to drive with her body next to him. He planned this -- that's why he brought the shovel. He found a place, put the tailgate down, took her out and buried her in a shallow...

Sorry to quote my own post...but ... this really points to a giant lie, because if he was just 'driving the baby around because it was fussy' (which we already know is a lie because the people in the store said the baby was sleeping), why would he need to stop somewhere and put the tailgate...

That is very, very astute. Really good observation I had not noticed. Don't forget: he had a shovel in the back of his truck. He might have just been in a hurry and thrown the shovel back in in order to get back and away from a terrible scene. So that he could return home, where his cousin's...

I think the better word his mother might have used to describe him would be volatile. His face registers rage, not remorse. It is written all over him. All these things -- being married, being a parent, needing money, are cruel injustices. He feels owed. He seems like a true narcissist to...

i am pretty sure an amber alert is reserved for cases with a description of the vehicle. We know this guy's vehicle. As well as this guy. Not applicable to this case.

Call me skeptical but I don't believe a word from this person. The very fact she lives in this drug encampment and is related to MG (girlfriend of cousin) and likely a friend of his makes anything she says highly suspect.

Google is whacked. Igo-Ono is only about a ten minute drive. Google "map of Ono CA". Tiny rural area. A store and little else really.

i think he might have wanted to NOT draw attention to the vehicle. Suppose a cop pulled up and noticed his absence of license plates? I also think he might've incorrectly assumed that surveillance cameras, if any, would be focused more on the store itself and the front of the store, and not the...

Sorry -- I didn't know that. Maybe some media outlet will recap it, though I do understand that statement analysis is like voice stress analysis -- an inexact science and inadmissible.

What a great idea -- if a body language person weighed in. Some of mom's mannerisms in her interviews have been quite strange. I imagine law enforcement has the particulars of Matthew's cell calls and just aren't mentioning it. I believe they have a lot more cards up their sleeve. I'm...

Thank you kindly for this excellent forum. So many great ideas and questions here. I live in the Redding area, so fairly close by. I have read everything in print on this case but perhaps I have missed something... Do we know exactly what calls were made when Matthew 'discovered' the baby...
