It does feel similar to that one, but also feels slightly different. I remember the barebones of that case but not the details. Did she plan the murder in advance or was it a sudden decision? Didn't Mitchell at least have her own car for transport?
This one feels more sudden and panicked to...
Someone who wanted to single-handedly change history? Become part of history? Instead of being one ballot paper in amongst 200 million?
Someone who didn't care that his bad aim was going to kill an innocent person? Maybe he thought they were all as guilty as the one he was aiming at and...
There were two cases in the last year of body parts found. I don't think we know the full stories on either of them yet, do we?
One of them, I think up north but not sure, had 2 men arrested and I think the victim lived in the same property that they did.
It might be something that would work to scare people off in Colombia, but doesn't translate so well over here.
Over there it might translate as "I'm on mob business, don't get involved" while over here someone would just say "yeah, don't we all, mate!"
But it doesn't mean he really is on mob...
At the time, his focus seems to be to get the cyclist to stop following, so he might have just made up something on the spur of the moment that could be scary... I have a really bad boss, you don't want to follow and get in trouble with the boss...?

But I...
There was a case, perhaps a year back, where a woman from London was charged after a body was transported from London to somewhere like Devon or Dorset. I mean a body in multiple parts.
This is the strangest part for me after following so many cases on here. It could suggest CCTV guy doesn't live more than a bike ride away from the bridge.
Two recent similar cases had the killer and victims both living at the same address. If this is a common feature of such crimes, then it would suggest he's more of a danger to those living in close proximity to him than to random members of the public. Plus he's already done the murder part.
The article says the parents are 'disputing the facts' of the case. I wonder if we'll find out what that means? I suspect they dispute it as being murder?
In this situation I feel like this is the worst outcome. The situation seems most likely to have ended with a fatal fall. But to not know 100% and not be able to take Jay home is awful.
Everyone has fought hard to find him. The searchers, and their special dogs, their efforts have been...
