On another note,
What do you folks think about forensic evidence? Been about a week with some bad rainstorms in SoCal, so any other evidence besides the body would be likely long gone at this point.
Hey everyone,
I just returned to this site after a long time, and I only heard about this case just now. Can anyone give me a summary on what happened? I'm already hearing discussion on the faults of the friend's statement, but so far only OC Register has the story on the affidavit. Thanks.
Alright then. At least this case seems like it's coming to a close. If this is a hit, it won't be a surprise if LE would make a deal with CWW and/or JR, in order to track down the mastermind. Nothing like clearing up loose ends - that's what detectives do.
Hey, man. I've been out of the forums for awhile. I heard about the update, considering the arrests of CWW and JR. Is it clear that this was a hit on her? And who do you think is the mastermind?
So there was an argument heard at the time of the crime, but just not reported immediately to detectives? (Sorry if I seem a bit confused - I got a bit lost in your reply)
Do you think the van contained a crucial piece of evidence or evidence that needs to be processed? LE had it for the entire investigation, so there must be something significant about it - either they have something crucial or unexplainable that further investigation is necessary. (BTW love your...
What's with this Avalanche thing? (POI/Suspect?) Also, what do you mean by "prior arguments"? You're saying that the neighbors reported spousal problems before the crime was committed?
Alright, thanks for the summary, my friend! I do think that this crime seems a lot more that a routine invasion - the door break-in seems a bit off. Why the side door instead of the back door - maybe to be hidden from the motion sensor lights, but it would take some expert/on-hand knowledge, at...
Hey guys, I wonder if it's any trouble if you can list me any type of statements/clues left at the scene. I want to check out the facts of the case, without looking through every post of this thread. Thanks for reading this, and considering this request. Otherwise, you have a nice day, folks.
fancyfree: Maybe, but considering the circumstances that this is a homicide, there may be some complications when it comes to receiving the cash for life insurance. I believe that is one of the first thing the police would investigate - murder for insurance money is a common crime - but due to...
Nice analysis on the tool marks left at the scene. I think crowbar would be the best way to break in, since it's more practical that way, based on its purpose to pry. Seems to me that the break-in story may be true, or it could be a blind. Only the facts can tell.
