Im always amazed at how low the injury numbers are (obviously one person is still too many, goes without saying) when looking at the various weapon capability - looking at the Paris and Manchester terrorist attacks here too - and lack of a way to escape. Does anyone know if there is a reason in...
Okie dokie. Makes it somewhat harder to discuss a shooting without mentioning guns at all, but them's the rules.
Apologies, I misread that post first time and thought it only mentioned gun control.
Indeed. There's only one major difference between the US and other similar countries, and it's the access to guns.
Not gun ownership per se - I'm in the UK but I'd buy one if I could (as a disabled mother who used to spend a lot of nights alone while the other half worked shifts, I'm quite...
That New Yorker article is great.
My mind was wandering about this, and I thought of a blog I was reading earlier about the rise of violence in *advertiser censored*. Made me wonder if there was a link there, obviously there's been an increase in school shootings that correlates with the rise of the internet...
Looking at this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5725913/Mother-sent-photo-performing-sex-act-man-ex-charged-inciting-assault.html
I'd hope that if he did contribute to a "snap", he could be prosecuted for it...
one other thing... moo only...
If I were Katrina in any sort of...
Btw, the order that sounds most plausible to me is:
katerina, children, mother hears noise and comes out to barn, shoot mother, phone call, shoot self (but then good point upthread that the neighbours did not report shots after 5.15...?)
OR in the theory that it was not PM:
PM shot while asleep...
One thing I'm curious about... if the ex husband was stalking and sitting outside the property all night - and said he would be there on that night - where was he while the gun shots were going off...?
Another thing that keeps popping in my head. We know women can have a tendency to marry men...
Very quick point to make... JMO
It is my belief that JH was the nastiest one, and SH a victim of her.
Someone said a few threads ago (sorry I can't quote - I've been catching up for days) that SH pulling along one of the children and leaving bruising was proof that SH was just as abusive as...
Just watching the ID "documentary" (I'll use that term loosely) and at the beginning it states that the grand jury findings are still unknown. When was it made to be able to state this - the verdict has been public for a couple of years now, hasn't it?
Being in the U.K. I grew up hearing about James Bulger frequently on the news (it's our JBR, it's mentioned A Lot). I guess that has an effect on how 'easily' I can come to terms with the idea that the initial murder and assault could be committed by a child.
The thing is 'perfect' DNA evidence tying anyone to the scene doesn't exist. This is always trotted out as proof that R didn't do it, without there being 'perfect' DNA evidence tying an intruder there either!!
So there is no 'perfect' DNA evidence... That doesn't prove R didn't do it anymore...
