I thought the same thing! If I thought I saw Jenna out and about, I'd surely be ok with being late for work given the circumstance.

There is also Onyx, directly around the corner from that Wendy's.

Thinking of Jenna today! I'm planning on going to the Zonolite Park tomorrow, which is a small but overgrown (and not very frequented) park here in Atlanta, not too far from where her apartment is and not too far from the parents' house either. In fact, it's kind of between them. I can't help...

I'd love to help with this! Please post details if this ends up happening so us locals can join in on the search.

Just looked at a Google satellite view of the area where Jenna's car was found near Street Execs Studios and there is a train track very close by and a densely wooded area along the train tracks. I wonder if these tracks have been searched by police? I'd like to volunteer to do so, but need to...

I rent in Atlanta and have never had to show any employment info. Totally depends on the kind of apartment. In the bigger apartment buildings this kind of thing is usually required but not usually from independent landlords or smaller complexes.

Yes this is what I understood too.

Probably not purposefully removed. But since Jenna's disappearance we've had a hurricane here in Atlanta. Likely any outdoor flyers blew away in that storm so people would have had to have put new ones up. I saw a flyer for Jenna in the East Point area of Atlanta outdoors at a gas station about...

That's what I'm thinking. Since it wasn't overly large/heavy, the glass in the frame would have likely held it in place. If it was a HUGE, heavy tapestry, it might have needed to be mounted in the frame.

Because we have no idea where she is. The info is inconsistent. It's not like her car was abandoned in a forest somewhere and search parties could look in the woods near her car. I think us Atlantans ARE looking for Jenna, everywhere we go, every day. But as for sending search parties? Jenna...

Going to share my theory that Jenna MAY have left of her own will. I don't know if I believe this theory myself (I know we are all confused, and all want answers). But this is just how certain details are stacking up to me at this moment in time. What I found surprising from the whole situation...

But a red car parked for an extended time in one spot would surely attract more attention than a dark one... If that person was involved with Jenna's disappearance and knew Jenna's mom's car would be the more eye-catching of the two. People notice red cars more than dark ones.

I think this is a very interesting theory. Jenna's mom's car is a 2010 Mazda 3 sedan in red. Jenna's car is a 2010 Mazda 6 in dark blue. It's not like Jenna's mom's car is like a luxury car (Mercedes, BMW, etc) in which case you might not want a fancy car in a certain area to draw attention...

I live in Atlanta and often get directions to my own apartment just because Atlanta traffic is bad and GPS is always sending me different ways to get home that are faster than the ways I know (often sends me down weird residential streets I never knew were there). I know Jenna is from here but...

I agree with you. It just depends where exactly she was in that area. On English Ave itself, sure, that's a red flag for sure. But if she was just generally in that area for 5-6 mins and we can't pinpoint an exact street, then it may not be cause for alarm. I was simply posting that to explain...

Atlanta local here. The area of Northside/North (English Ave that people keep mentioning) is an area I drive through all the time, and do not think of as a weird/dangerous place to be driving around. Close to there are some of the trendiest areas of Atlanta (Westside Provisions, The Optimist...

Another Atlanta local here (I drive by Jenna's apartment area daily, and live close to her parents' house). Just giving a bit of hope... We are expected to get hit by Hurricane Irma on Monday here in Atlanta, and Atlanta is a city of trees. Many people are encouraging people that park cars on...

I understand that the door was locked. Not disputing this at all. But for example with my own home's door (I also live in an older house in Atlanta of a similar age to the Van Gelderen family's home), I have 2 locks on my door: one deadbolt, and one lock on the door handle. The is door handle...

Yes, I understand the house was locked. Locked with intention or locked "accidentally" just because that's how the door is, is what I was trying to figure out.
