Sorry, late night posting.
I meant why move it to the mall. There are a jillion other places that would’ve, IMO, been easier to ditch a car. Moving it to a mall on December 23 seems like it would be far down the list of good places to ditch a car. You add then the letter, it seems like a lot of...
My issue with any theories that they were harmed at another location, is why risk moving the car? Wouldn’t it be easier and safer to ditch the car somewhere? I think that whatever happened, happened in that parking lot. I don’t think they ever made it into the mall.

FW Cat, I recall that you were a verified insider previously. Would you be able or willing to to be so again? Not asking in any official capacity, just as some one who has found your info useful ;)
To my knowledge, it is assigned to a cold case detective, but it is one of many.
Something to consider, the “renegade” missions to find evidence do more harm than good IMHO. If for instance something had been found in one of the cars brought up, it wouldn’t be able to be used as evidence...
This is my understanding as well.
My curiosity with this is why the Arnold family would have been the first to worry and start to search. Rachel, to my knowledge, had not seen them that day or spoken with them (other than Debra). I know that Terry Moseley was around when they departed for their...
Who initially “sounded the alarm” that something was wrong? Of the three, one was emancipated, one was staying with grandma, and one had a mom who was at work. I know that they didn’t have an exact time they would be back, going to the mall would’ve been a fair amount of “lolly-gagging”, so at...
I don’t think it was the car they were expecting. As far as any remains in the car, I don’t think they will know that until they get the car somewhere to really look in it. It was in the lake upside down and the roof was collapsed in.
I went down to the lake this afternoon just st as they were loading up the car. I did hear that the car did have a VIN, but what information they can get from that I do not know.
Something I’ve wondered, why Debra was staying with Rachel and TT. I would think it would be awkward to live with them, why is it she would prefer that situation to living with her parents? I recall it being alluded to that home wasn’t always a happy place, and that is why she went to live with...
This isn’t likely anything to do with the case. How old was Rachel’s father Cotton when she disappeared? I have been looking for a relative that we only know by the name Cotton, who would’ve been in the Dallas area in the 1940’s
