It is unclear to me how this is relevant to anything at all. Do you think it works like Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy? I am not an attorney but my understanding is that it doesn’t quite work that way. I don’t see anything unusual or untoward about Rozzi stating an intention at one point in...
To be clear: by all accounts, Judge Gull is well respected. I have no negative feelings about her personally! I simply wish she had (a) not manipulated the record and/or not instructed the clerk to bungle the CCS; and (b) followed the proper procedures for sanctions against the defense attorneys...
I’m disappointed to continue to read people misunderstanding frustration with Judge Gull’s failure to properly and impartially do her job as some sort of personal animus toward her. If she had carried out her duties properly, neither of the two matters would be before SCOIN right now. I...
The sooner Judge Gull recuses herself the better. The transcript is even less flattering to her than I expected it would be based on Rozzi’s prior statements and filings. JMO
FWIW, Gull’s argument re: timeliness was the only one that felt particularly strong to me. I’ll leave the rest to the lawyers. But I absolutely must ridicule the assertion that the Franks memo was sealed because it used the victims’ names. It feels like a joke that was accidentally left in the...
Gull claims the victims’ full names need to be redacted from the Franks memo, and cites no other redactions needed. You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried. What a joke
It's really unclear to me why the prosecutors wanted to keep even this redacted version from being released. I sure hope they have more substantial evidence to add to this at trial. Kudos to the judge for keeping the public informed.
That link is broken. If you remove the dashes at the end of the URL, it works, though. I'll attach a screenshot from the video so that this thread has a picture of Jessica in it. Hope that's okay!
IMO, when Carter said the phrase "between the two" it was somewhat unclear whether he meant that: (1) the actual appearance of BG is likely between the primary sketch and the secondary sketch; or (2) the accuracy of the primary sketch is likely between that of a photograph of BG and that of a...
My understanding is that it's common to keep secret which areas have been searched, so that a potential perp can't move anything to a location that most likely won't be searched again. JMO.
Per this article, yellow jumpsuit is not *necessarily* suicide watch, but could be.
She wore a yellow jail jumpsuit, which signifies that an inmate is on some type of watch, such as medical or suicide, and is checked on more often than other inmates.

Good write-up! Ill quote the one piece of information in there that I hadnt seen confirmed until now (re: suicide watch and jumpsuit meaning):
She wore a yellow jail jumpsuit, which signifies that an inmate is on some type of watch, such as medical or suicide, and is checked on more often...
IIRC the charges are misdemeanors. Im with you on an emotional level but there are rules that have to be followed. To be honest Im shocked that its possible for two misdemeanors to result in a bail as high as $50k. But Im not a lawyer. And I fully expect that its just a matter of time until...
This boggled my mind. His tone of voice suggests that to him, the issue of abuse, while valid, is not really that big of a deal... its making me use all my bad words. So horrible. What a tragic situation for a poor innocent boy.
Great catch! Thats a very curious detail. Ive been lurking here for a little while in a few threads, but this is my first post. Yall are a lovely little internet community! Keep up the great work!
