Because they start off as cute babies and she loved (and took care of) babies.

That is a view point I hadn't considered. It would be to her advantage in that regard because she has nothing to lose. While she might eventually get out of a mental hospital, I doubt she'd be out in a few years. That said, an indefinite sentence would be preferable to life in prison without...

CA - 13 victims, ages 2 to 29, shackled in home by parents, Perris, 15 Jan 2018 #11

A psychology professor of mine, who worked in the state forensic hospital, told us to never plead Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity because more often than not, their sentence was longer than a typical prison sentence. I love that thought; I hope you're right! $400,000 seems like a paltry amount when a bus aide who was harassed by a student got $700,000 in a short time.

That is good news; better than the $60,000 I last heard. Thanks for the update! I wish people could raise enough to ensure none of them would want for anything the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, with the help they'll need, that isn't nearly enough. That would barely be enough to send the...

Yes, thank you for pointing out that restricted interests are part of many diagnoses. Therefore, obsessions are not a sure sign of ASD (and saving me a long post ;))! On the subject of ASD, since I've seen speculation DT may have it, people with ASD do feel emotions! They feel love...

I'm a little afraid to post this because of judgment, but the restraints conversation is weighing on my mind. I work with kids and adults (up to 21) who the public schools cannot handle because of their level of violence or self-injurious behavior. I'm talking about a 6 year old who detached a...
