I don't read it as saying they were killed at the scene of the car. In fact, I think the kidnapping charge implies they werent. But I do think it means they died of inflicted wounds--not by suffocation.
Maybe this has already been posted--but I think this puts to rest the question of whether they were buried alive.

I wasn't thinking the stun gun caused the bleeding--but just the death. I guess I assumed the pools of blood was unconfirmed. If it's accurate-then I guess it would explain the broken hammer. Geez--just typing that makes me cringe at the thought.
Unrelated to the pools of blood, but related to the cause of death speculation--does anyone know if it's possible that death can be caused by a stun gun? I've been wondering about this ever since it was stated that VB and JK weren't shot.
What information are you referring to when you state that the Cooks were enlisted in this incident by TA? Are you assuming they knew because they looked after the children that morning or is there some information that points to them being accomplices? Same question for your statement that Mr...
I’m not sure what we’re debating at this point? I’m not asking anyone to be a fortune teller. I’m saying it’s a minimal investment to have a safe exchange site. I’ve never put parameters on that statement. I do think the sheriff was wrong to say because he hadn’t witnessed any reason for concern...
I certainly have no expectation of LE being able to foretell the future—but a custody exchange site is a minimal investment into ensuring emotionally charged situations don’t escalate.
Think of it akin to preventative medicine.
Wow. 2 minutes from the time they arrived until their phones stopped signaling. Anybody know—if they were holding their phones would a stun gun charge disable the phones?
I'm incredulous that the Sheriff's statement "never saw anything in the visitation exchanges that caused him concern" was considered as a reason to cease supervised exchange of custody. OF COURSE HE DIDN'T. What on earth was Wrangler going to do in his presence that would cause concern? This is...
I'm assuming you've never been involved in a custody case. I can assure you--when you're in the middle of fighting for you and your child, there isn't anything about it that feels low-level.
It's so easy to lose perspective.
Many times the family court system is used by people to punish and...
Hmmm. I have mixed feelings about this statement. Mostly, I agree—and of course if they go, no one should be rude or belittle them. However, part of me is really angry they didn’t hold Emily accountable for her actions—and they didn’t protect Lucas. Especially since one member of her family is...
I dont know...remember the testimony in the CE hearing? No evidence of drug use in the house—the day after she ‘smoked three bowls’ in the garage? Her drug paraphernalia went somewhere. ;)
This new timeline also puts the 2 minute ping of Emily’s phone in the area where she put Lucas into perspective. IMO she wasn’t dumping his body ( although most of us never bought this 2 minute dump story anyway) she was stopping by to verify he was still there and hadn’t been found before she...
From a perspective of the new dates—in my mind, this brings even more clarity to the idea that Emily was trying to set this poor guy up.
She isn’t going to leave Lucas in the house—dead— for four to five days.
She was setting him up.
If these new dates are accurate, It totally supports...
Hmmm. At first glance this seems like bad news—but wasn’t she only acquitted for MH? So records for Lucas should still be fair game?
No finding of child abuse means no state records released after Lucas' body is found
