I haven't read all of the posts yet so maybe someone mentioned this already......doesn't this sound a lot like the Nancy Cooper case? Marital problems Money problems Jealousy Late night "adventure" Husband isn't first to report missing wife Hard to believe alibi 2 small children...

Are you referring to Brad and Nancy being "together at a party"? I thought it was established that only Nancy had been at the party that night...not Brad.

Moving van at Cooper House now (11/13/08)

The house directly across the street from the Cooper house is on the market for $429,900. http://www.fizber.com/north-carolina/buy-single-family-home-2073476.html

Moving van at Cooper House now (11/13/08)

So, do you think the house will sell??? It has too much "history" for me to even think about moving my family into it. There must be plenty of homes on the market now and I think there has to be full-disclosure if someone died in a house....hard to imagine someone hasn't heard about the...

Do people talk while they jog....or just jog? Even if CC wasn't a part the the neighborhood scene, you would think by jogging with Nancy, certain things would have been discussed. When I walk with friends (we don't jog) we cover lots of topics in our talks...just to pass the time. IMO CC...

Since it wouldn't need to be kept a secret from Brad (now that Nancy is dead) why wouldn't JA include in her affadvit that Nancy had plans to move into a condo that weekend....if it were true. Just curious.

I agree completely that neither Nancy nor her family had any idea that Brad could possibly commit murder. IMO that's why they wanted the two little girls so badly. Although, you'd like to think Brad could never hurt the girls, you just never know how a sick mind works.....assuming Brad did harm...

....And they split up Bella's bedroom set but don't mention anything about Katie's crib or a dresser. If the girls had separate bedrooms, I can't imagine they didn't both have a dresser.

Do you suppose Brad will be attending this....so far he has only "grieved in private" and since Nancy's family is not in Cary, he can't use that as an excuse. http://www.carynews.com/front/story/9834.html I actually wonder what the response would be if he DID attend!!!!!

Y'all are starting to sound like the kids I deal with.....speaking of which, I'm going to miss staying in touch when it's back to work tomorrow. It's almost overwhelming to be gone for several hours at a time and then have to catch up on all of the posts. I don't know how I'll survive 8 hours...

That's what I meant: she used the term "isolated" at one point and "not random" later. Does that mean she's using them as synonyms?

I went back and listened to the video (the first one after identifying Nancy's body) and the Chief calls it both an "isolated incident" and a "random act". She stresses they have nothing to indicate it was anything but an isolated incident.

Any ideas on how a sicko could stage the scene where the body was found to make investigators believe it's not a random act? I seem to remember at one of the press conferences that the chief said it was safe for people to go outside - don't remember her exact words.

Do you think that LE were able to take photos of Brad's arms (if there were scratches) or is it always going to remain a mystery....since the scratches would have healed by now. Can a search warrant that involves taking DNA also include looking for and taking photos of wounds on the body?

Is that private property? Why did you think the police might be waiting at the subdivision entrance? Remember, this was an "isolated incident" so the police aren't expecting a repeat occurance in that area. It might be hard to sell those lots if everyone gets creeped out by driving through the...

Well, I guess none of us would be here if we weren't intrigued by mystery....I can't wait for her to report in and tell us what she's been up to!!!!

Did Brad always wear his wedding band? It could be that sometime before the first press conference, he decided to put it on so everyone would think he was still concerned about Nancy and saving their marriage. Just a thought.....

Did they take away his passport? No one is worried he will try to flee?

Private labs might be expensive but isn't LE providing 24 hour watch on Brad....that has to add up in cost, too.
