I got the impression that there are two dogs. One can be heard barking in the infamous SH interview and from the sound of the bark it is a relatively small dog. At one point the media showed video taken from a helicopter going over the house and a larger golden labrador type dog is seen...

I'm curious to know whether the fairground that was allegedly searched actually has a ghost train/ ghost related ride. For some reason I was brought in mind of ScoobyDoo when it was mentioned in the infamous interview.

Your theory is plausible. Personally, I don't think he either loved or hated her. I think the feeble and unsuccessful attempt to cry in the interview demonstrates that he did not love her. When he was crying before being arrested he was a man under incredible stress and was fearing that the...

[QUOTE=Cherwell;8258383]What's the chances of that ever-popular defence: "I was only trying to stop her from screaming" © I. Huntley, V. Tabak et al I was wondering that myself. I think it may come down to timing. If it is unclear who was in the house at time of death we may see a bit...

Indeed, falling down the stairs may cause bruising but I've never heard of a child being smothered to death because they have fallen down some stairs. Although it is possible that the bruising and the smothering are unrelated. Considering the poor child seemed to live on junk food it would...

[/B] Another disturbing possibility - would a violent sexual assault not also result in bruising?

Indeed it is possible but I suspect a little well thought out for him. He seems more of a stand on a chair and use brute force kinda guy to me but that's just my opinion.

Originally I thought that. Getting stuff into lofts is so much easier with two people although the more I think about it the more I think he could do alone. I remember one case where a police officer found a body in a cupboard and was amazed at how little space it took up. I think SH put Tia...

I think if this was the case it would have been hard to prevent Tia from screaming and alerting the neighbours. I doubt those walls would prevent screams from permeating hence why I believe death by smothering is a more realistic scenario.

Does anybody else see an eerie comparison between SH and Casey Anthony? Superficially, they seem adept at lying but when you look at what they are saying their stories are riddled with holes and inconsistencies. However those in their close circle seem to be sucked into their lies and...

It does seem odd to get bail for suspicion of murder - suggests they don't really have much on her or think she was too involved in the death. Where is she going to go? Wouldn't want to be in her shoes right now.

That is a really interesting point - why the immediacy?? Apart from still having the body in the house I think it was sensible to report her missing as quickly as possible because then there would not be a really long time when Tia was not seen by other people and her usual patterns of...

Personally, I think it's a Maxine Carr-esque scenario. I think when she left for work Tia was alive and when she returned she was dead. I think Stuart sexually assualted and then murdered her. As hard as it is to comprehend how a Grandmother can hide such a terrible event I suspect her logic...

Honestly, I am well confused about the Gran's working hours. I am familiar with hospitals and nursing homes and the only reasonable explanation as to why she was out of the house for such a long period is that she did a night shift at one place and then maybe did an agency/bank early shift...

They are subject to an enhanced criminal record check - which means that things that they have been convicted of or things that they are suspected of being involved with should be flagged up. However, carers do not need any qualifications, they are generally on minimum wage and anybody can get...

To Tyker, re hat munching: I've just had some oats so I'm not too hungry right now but I thank you for your concern As it's not been confirmed SH was the main perpetrator just yet, I'll hold off for now, but be assured I will let you know if I do eat one. :) I'm more concerned about the fact...

I too am hoping it is an innocent case of mistaken identity. The only thing that gives me some cause for concern is the fact that the timing (midday) fits so well with Stuart Hazell's story and the neighbour was close enough to observe that not only was Tia not carrying anything but she...

I imagine that the eye witness is the lady mentioned in this Telegraph article:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9455423/Missing-schoolgirl-Tia-Sharp-looked-happy-and-relaxed-claims-last-person-to-see-her.html It's very odd - don't know if she thought she was doing her friend a...
