I think that Cindy, like Casey, says one thing and does another. Cindy probably loved Caylee, but that doesn't mean she was her "supermom" in place of Casey. Part of her felt like it wasn't her responsibility, so instead of just taking care of Caylee and loving every minute, she forced Casey...
Exactly.... I think that's going to be really hard for her at court. She's left herself pretty much no window of doubt, because the only story she'll tell is so obviously untrue.
If everything Casey said was true... who all would have to be lying/conspiring?
Clearly it isn't true. CLEARLY.
But since the defense doesn't seem to be changing their story, i'm curious as to who all would have to be lying to make it so that Casey wasn't.
I'll start...
"Zachary"...
That is a good point, and there is the testimony by two friends that she wanted to be "committed" at one point.
Has she been meeting with a psychologist in prison? One who could perhaps see if this might be true?
Don't get me wrong - I don't want her to get away with this... I just can't...
It seems to me that if Casey even thought she might have PPD, she would be screaming it to the rooftops to her nearest & dearest for sympathy. She doesn't strike me as someone who truly wanted to be seen as a "good mother," or she wouldn't have called Caylee "the little snothead."
Lurker here...
I have to say, my question as to her sanity has less to do with whether or not (and i lean heavily towards not) she had a miscarriage, but more to the fact that she even TRIED to use the nanny story. I mean, like you said, PPD would have been much more viable in court, some...
Baez made the mistake of believing that anyone following this case still sees Casey as a human being worthy of compassion. She showed no compassion for her daughter, her family... everyone that loved that little girl.
She is selfishness embodied. She is incapable of struggling, and if she...
Now I have to wonder what the damn chloroform was used for. I see no logical reason for KC to need to knock her out for that short amount of time. Or that she would spend all the effort making it for that short of a time period of "payoff."
I know very little about chloroform, so I have to ask - then - would leaving a rag soaked in chloroform not keep the child asleep? This seems to be a VERY popular theory... but is it then, impossible?
I just got through reading through this entire thread, and I have to said that my heart has broken for all of you great mothers who stick by your children, no matter what. You are all really awesome. :)
Now... what I came in here to post was something that really just grated on my nerves. I...
I think the two should be granted full immunity if they are willing to testify for the prosecution. I believe that their testimonies would be invaluable for the prosecution. What jury will not convict her with the mountain of evidence AND her parents on the other side of the courtroom? Not to...
This is kind of random and doesn't really tell us anything we don't know... but
In the jailhouse tapes, KC says "I wish none of this would have ever happened."
The whole "would have never happened" thing is a rather passive way to say that she wishes her daughter would have never been...
Hello all. This is my first post here, but i've been lurking for about a month, catching up on the documents and trying to squeeze all this information into my mind. Trust me, my coursework has taken the hit.
I've heard the theory floated out there that Casey was using Xanax to drug Caylee -...
