Yes, she does seem pretty diligent, and also mentioned the article that reported Wonyetye’s confession to inmates, which I feel tends to fly under the radar in many cases. The part about the bodysuit being found just happened to be a detail I hadn’t heard before, or else had forgotten about.

I learned about the Wicked Deeds podcast a few days ago and listened to the episode about Tammy Belanger, the other girl Victor Wonyetye is accused of kidnapping. While it focuses more on Tammy, Christy is mentioned in it, and they mentioned that Christy’s clothes were found in a swampy area...

So there was a test done on the cat hair to compare it to Christy’s cast? Can you provide a link to the test results?

NH NH - Tammy Belanger, 8, Exeter, 13 Nov 1984

I keep coming back to Victor Wonyetye primarily due to an article I stumbled upon a little over 10 years ago. It was 10 years ago this month that I posted the article’s contests here, and now here it is again for any who have not seen it and would like to. I have not found a direct link to this...

FL FL - Marjorie 'Christy' Luna, 8, Greenacres City, 27 May 1984

Victor Wonyetye was the primary suspect, and according to a newspaper article printed in New Hampshire in 1992, eight to twelve inmates testified that he confessed to killing Christy. Unfortunately, that by itself wasn’t solid enough evidence for a conviction, and Wonyetye kept denying to...

I didn't read through all the replies, so forgive me if someone has answered this already, but has it been established why she was so far from home?

LA LA - Raylene Helsley, 12, Ruston, 5 Jan 1983

A story was just brought to my attention that was reported by KNOE, the CBS affiliate in Monroe, LA. It seems the FBI is currently investigating a wooded area on Highway 3061, and some digging was done. This is not a definite that this investigation is in regards to Raylene's case, but according...

NH NH - Tammy Belanger, 8, Exeter, 13 Nov 1984

I read the article you linked to, along with another one that discussed Phillips Exeter's sordid past. Here is the problem with your theory. Both articles refer to the children who were victims as students, which indicates that they were all students at Phillips Exeter. Nowhere in either article...

NH NH - Tammy Belanger, 8, Exeter, 13 Nov 1984

Wonyetye's other alleged victim was Marjorie Christina Luna, aged 8, of Greenacres, FL. She went missing prior to Tammy's disappearance, and Wonyetye lived there at that time, and was reportedly seen outside the store the day Christy (that is what she went by) disappeared. It has been said that...

NH NH - Tammy Belanger, 8, Exeter, 13 Nov 1984

I have to disagree with you on this, on the grounds that an article in the Palm Beach Post dated Jan. 14, 1992, says that Wonyetye confessed to inmates that he had raped and killed two girls, and this article in particular names Christy Luna from Greenacres, FL, who Wonyetye is also accused of...

FL FL - Marjorie 'Christy' Luna, 8, Greenacres City, 27 May 1984

*continued from above* In saying what he did, Victor Wonyetye seemed very confident that Tammy's body would never be found, so would he not have been equally confident about Christy's body? And if so, the acid theory seems like a haunting possibility. Just some food for thought. Now here is the...

I just finished reading the tweets myself by LE, and I'm very intrigued that they went this route to get answers, and happy to see that they are still making an effort to solve this case. I thought I would also post the link to an article I read minutes ago that brought to my attention that LE...

Identified! MO - Phelps Co., WhtFem, 25-35, along I-44, dark blue hair, Oct'16 - Brandy Steinke

Sad to say, I have not either. I came hoping to see an update. I checked the Phelps County sheriff's Facebook page, and in Brandy's mother's last post, which was on Sunday, she said they are still not any closer to solving the case.

Thank goodness she has been identified. My heart and my prayers go out to the family left behind.

Something else that has occurred to me within the last few hours, since I learned that the person who claims to have fed our Jane Doe, and whose name I am leaving out of all future posts, simply said that they served her food. Nothing was mentioned about a restaurant. Well, their profile also...

I checked out the profile of the poster of the comment saying they served Jane Doe, and assuming the post was truthful, their profile says Cuba, MO. Some further digging revealed that there is at least one exit leading to Cuba from I-44, that being exit 208. Jane Doe was found at mile marker...

She said she was in Missouri, so that means it was likely fairly close to the time that our Doe was killed. She may be among the last people to see her alive. Beetlegeuse, thank you for providing that screenshot, especially since I missed it. The other post I referred to, which mentioned our Doe...

The tattoo on our Jane Doe's foot/ankle is actually on the right, not the left. Anyhow, I wanted to add that someone posted on one of the Facebook posts that someone named Sharon Kay said she served food to our Jane Doe before everything happened. Several people now suspect that Sharon Kay knows...

Someone posted on a Facebook post that a woman fitting this UID's description was seen in her town. They said she was a transient from Kentucky who had passed through their town. The commenter is based in Wyoming and said the lady seen in her town had dyed hair like our UID.

LA LA - Raylene Helsley, 12, Ruston, 5 Jan 1983

According to this site, Raymond Helsley died in 2012. In a post dated Dec. 19 I believe the date says, it says he died 5 weeks prior to the posting, and that the other daughter, who I am assuming is Candy, wanted nothing to do with him. I don't blame her a bit...
