We bought our first Wamsutta comforter set in 1991 at a store at the outlets in Hilton Head, SC, that was not a Bed Bath and Beyond. Store was considerably smaller than a BB&B, only had bedding, maybe some towels. Was like a tiny outlet version of a Linens and Things...or an independently owned...
So they manipulated each other to get what they each wanted. NBC got the better end of that deal. Everything he said can and will be used against him in a court of law....
Jumping off your post LaborOfLobe :seeya:
Just watched his interview, aka/gift to the future prosecuting attorney. Uh, yeah. Pretty sure that more than your soul will be held accountable. If my loved one had been one who died in his illegal (literal) deathtrap, I would be sorely tempted to...
Exactly.
Looking at the Malice charge, jury felt Malice was present.
Now moving on to the Felony Murder charge, jury felt the felony of 'cruelty to children in the first degree' was present.

Not directed at you, katydid23 :seeya:, but I'm not sure why we need to see graphs on, or even discuss, mass shooting statistics and white men on this thread.
Yesterday's attack was neither a mass shooting, nor was it conducted by a white man.
Graphs and statistics on Muslim...
In theory, it could be possible. In our district HS students can 'dual enroll'--my son is a senior and takes a few college classes at a community college half the day. They fulfill his senior requirements for the parallel subject offered at HS level, and he earns the college credit. The student...
I can't believe her church community wouldn't raise the funds for a marker if they were only asked. Also, sometimes the funeral home will donate the headstone for a child. :waitasec:
Yes, with grief it usually works the other way. It's almost impossible to carry on with daily tasks because grief overwhelms you. I've never in my life met a parent who lost a child who could pick and choose when to grieve.
BBM: This is something you'd expect to hear from the loved one of a missing person whose body has finally been found after two years. JRH's kid is dead because of him. He saw him dead, touched his lifeless body. He then walked away.
So if he's held his grief in suspended animation for TWO AND...
It's not regional to where I've lived the last 30 years (Georgia). I'm not sure where I picked it up, lol, I'm originally from the North but also grew up in the Midwest. I was just trying to find a euphemism that wouldn't get ***** or <modsnip>ed! :giggle:
I know you know this...whatever motivates a person to kill someone doesn't have to 'make sense' to the juror, for we are not murderers, murder does not 'make sense' to us. It is helpful to be shown by the State that the logic appeared to make sense to the person who committed the murder.
You...
You mean unlike the really 'smart' way Jodi Arias carried out Travis's murder? Or the super smart way Ganesh Ramsaran carried out the murder of his wife Jennifer? (And the 'smart' way he attempted to bribe a guard to help him escape after being found guilty of murder?)
I was under the...
This!
If LH truly though this could happen (due to Ross's lack of focus while caring for Cooper) to the point that it was her biggest fear, you'd think she'd, for the safety of their son, change to a daycare nearest their house or to her work, or make some other arrangement, so that Ross does...
But he could see his baby...while driving...when Cooper was dead...when he changed lanes? Just must not have ever turned his head to the right even the little-bittiest while driving from CFA to work, I guess. I suppose when making a U-turn, he looked left, then left, then left again? Just...
