If the outline in the pocket is a gun, it's not a small handgun. It looks a lot like a Desert Eagle and not your typical conceal carry. It also appears to have been placed into the pocket by the barrel (handle in first) which doesn't make sense.

I haven't been on here for a few weeks since the first 2-3 weeks of the investigation, but my discernment has pointed me towards MB all along. At first when I would mention it some others would get upset on here. However I would say he is becoming of interest, I don't see any other logical...

Glad I could provide a laugh. :-) Just wanted to poke fun of myself a bit. I know quite a bit about technology, but anything else I would never claim to be an expert on. My knowledge is an inch deep and a mile wide. Jack of many trades expert of NONE!

I come from the Bible Belt, but have no issues with people who are gay. At the same time gay people don't usually hang out in biker bars where I come from. There seemed to be some diversity at FB, but at the heart it was a biker bar (correct?).

Very true. Especially with violent criminals. Some people make mistakes and learn from them. However certain crimes are committed by people that are too far gone to rehabilitate (IMO). Certain people have urges, desires, etc that just aren't present in normal people. These people are usually...

I can't say I know any sex offenders personally, but I can't imagine someone being a sex offender and not a pathological liar. I don't know how else they would be able to live with themselves. They must have themselves convinced of their own lies.

It is probably unfair, but I've wondered the same thing in how she ended up with her husband. She was success driven (straight-A student), but he had plenty of issues with the law (previously discussed). He seems like a nice enough guy and maybe learned from his mistakes. However as they say...

It is definitely possible that she was texting someone else at FB and then wanted Nick to get her home so that she could meet up with them. She probably wouldn't say to him, "Can you take me home, I want to meet up with someone else", but rather "I'm feeling pretty tired...".

Part of me hopes so and part of me doesn't. I know it is unlikely that she is alive, but if he is perp then it's definitely unlikely. She most likely would have surfaced while he was in jail. If it is someone else, maybe she was taken and still alive somewhere. Longshot, but I am not one to give...

My mother is one of those types that doesn't like contracts. She had a prepaid phone a few years ago. She had a local teen walk into her house and grab her purse and point a gun at her. The teen riffled through her purse and took her cell phone. The police requested cellular records and they...

I can agree that I am not 100% convinced. The guy seems too dumb to mastermind not leaving any trail. Very few succeed at that. At the same time he seems just dumb enough to let several people see him leave a bar with her and then be the one responsible. If it is not him and some random...

All phones whether prepaid or not are traceable and I am pretty sure it is the law that cellular providers keep records of all transmissions for up to 7 years.

I thought of this too and you could very well be right (MB not wanting it to take focus away from the search). Assuming he is innocent (which I believe now) and they were having a bit of a disagreement, how much harder does that make it on him? Even though he wasn't involved in any way, he may...

I agree 100%. I don't think the true story is being divulged here. I just try to think of every possibility. But truth be known (to me) it sounds like at the very least a mini-separation. I don't think a legal separation was filed or we would have heard about it, but mentally/emotionally they...

Agreed. It is definitely odd. I suppose it could have been a fight. Sometimes young couples don't exactly take the best approach to disagreements and go the silent treatment route, etc. Definitely something seemed to be amiss for them to not talk the entire weekend. Then again we don't really...

On the 3G it's on top, on the 4 & 4S it is on the right side. If it is AT&T or T-Mobile it will have the SIM card. I can't tell from the photos which carrier she has though. I tried zooming way in with photo software and cannot get the clarity I would need.

It's on the side of the unit. You will see a little access door with a hole that a paper clip can be inserted into. Then the little panel that holds the SIM card will pop out. I believe it is on the right side (left phone in vehicle). I often take my SIM card out to use it in a wireless internet...

I have had a busy day and fallen behind. I saw on the old forum that the subject of an iPhone came up. It depends on your carrier as to whether a iPhone 4S has a SIM card. GSM carriers do have sim card and the iPhone 4S on AT&T does have a SIM card. However CDMA carriers such as Verizon do not.
