    BSL - Evidentiary Hearing, Friday, Aug 17, 2012, 10:00 A.M.

He will wake up this morning in Angola. I hope the sounds, and sights and smells are horrific. I know its doubtful he has emotions like normal people, but my hope is in his love of himself fear can creep in. A tiny little blond on a bike at 2 am looked like such a good easy target for a...

She was so smart and such a fighter. He will never hurt anyone again. My heart is absolutely broken for all the families involved, but I can hardly look at Nancy without being inspired. You can't murder who these women were, Mickeys friends and family won't let you. If he lied about even...

The State's Case against Brandon Scott Lavergne

Perhaps forensic evidence he overlooked in his "clean up"? Hair in a dryer, blood spatter inside a phone cover ect ext. I hope its something as substantial as photos linking him to both women but doubt it. I think if he kept something it would not be obvious to the casual observer. I can't help...

I found it, so it did not state why they did not take the tape but did include useful information.

Forgive me for not being able to find it now but I believe Claire T stated the reason LE didn't take the tape right away. Toddler will not let me use phone long enough to find post, sorry.

A little off topic but I am looking for property in the area to start a farm. A property came to my attention in Church Point very close to Swords, when I requested more information and pictures I was told the home is vacant and the agent is in San Francisco. So no one is looking in on it. I...

Thank you so much! I can't imagine how difficult this must be for all the families involved. You just never know what tiny piece of information may be key.

I don't think anyone will lash out at you here. In my opinion your family are victims too. Giving the police the information can only help, even if they already have it confirmation from another source is good. I wish peace to you and your family.

This made me cry instantly. My head says she is gone but my heart just won't give up on miracles.

Anyone know how his victim from the conviction got away? The information I have seen says she was bound for the assault but makes no mention of if she escaped or was let go. I get the impression Mickey would have put up more of a fight than her looks might indicate. Thank you everyone here but...

A few years back they drained the Basin (not WB) but close and my family member in LE said it was amazing the things they found. Interesting as an aside native Americans in the area also used the area to dump things. We have a long history of making things go away in the swamp. I also would...

Still here lurking and now lurking on other threads too. So many people, almost all strangers to you WS, that have not been allowed to be forgotten. Now they will occupy my heart too. Mickey is out there and as long as it takes I for one will never let it go. Keep looking at what we have...

They are very happy to find dead prey items. If I was trying to make a body disappear I would not have chosen moving water like where the bike was found. The basin area has much more calm waters and lots of places that if you had a boat could provide you privacy and seclusion. If panicking...

Please skip this post if you are weak of stomach. I HATE to even think about it but as a zoo keeper with 15 years working with reptiles I have some thoughts on the possibility of a swamp body dump. I have seen several posting on gators in the swamps aiding in the complete disappearance of a...

I apologize if this has been put to bed but as hard as I try to read every post my toddler keeps taking my phone and saying "no phone mommy, come play!" So I have missed some. I do not believe that LE would release a photo showing an accident as has been pondered over. This leaves me with so...

"That image and another shot of the truck that has not been released were used to definitively identify the vehicle, Mouton said". From the Advertiser article What is in that picture!!! As always thanks to everyone for trying to bring her home.

Regarding the hand grips, anyone think its possible the LEO just mentioned them and the handlebars because they were of interest for forensic study not because they were removed? My husband works with sonar and says that its very hard to make a clean identification with all that's down there...
