Came across this link which I know is TMI but might help some u derstand areas around here and what locals refer to when posting.
The Garfield Ladner Pier is pg 36 - someone asked if it wasn't...
Tommy Longo hasn't been mayor for several years - article is old. No way it's 12,000 ft long - it's approx 1000 ft over water. Area isn't as secluded as many other places on Waveland coast. People fish there most nights. I would say that it would be unusual for the pier to be completely...
Agree - pier in the picture looks like one from here. There were still the large pipes (used to pump sand from the Pass) on the beach the day Jaren was found. LE was actually looking in them at one point. Seems like they would have dropped her off around the marsh areas by the concrete pier -...

It was a guy from Denham Springs camping with buddies. Not in any way related to this case. Only thing interesting about it: shows unlike what most locals believe would...

Note what Glen Grannen said: "If we get some definitive information, we'd still want to keep it close to the vest" to check the credibility of anyone who comes forward with possible...
Totally agree - absolute truth!

That's absolutely true. But if we're talking about camps, mainly fishing camps, few exist in the Waveland, BSL area any more, which is where so many seem to be concentrating on. Before Katrina, the majority of the structures were exactly what Glezell described. Waveland was ground zero for...
Hunting knives are somewhat large used to clean deer around MS and LA. Not normally, if ever serrated. Totally different from a knife you would find on most boats. Can't say that I've seen them sold locally in gas stations or WalMart etc. Now filet knives are a different story and obviously...
I agree. I do the beach walking path daily and find myself watching cars, people, helicopters. Water is so rough this morning and beach is full of families - can't help but think that if anything else is out there, it will wash up at low tide and some poor child will find it. Just too close...
Bucaneer is open at night - pretty certain. I'll ride by and check.

Pretty interesting what Hillary's mother has to say to the Sea Coast Echo.
