Gerard Baden Clay's murder appeal #2

For me, justice is finally sweet and more in part because it was served because of him. Had he not attempted to grandstand at the original trial - not only might we not have got the original verdict, but the reinstatement was also directly from his spoken evidence and for me I imagine he thinks...

    Gerard Baden Clay's murder appeal

Just wondering, if the charge is upheld by the appeal court (yay) does he have any other avenues? I'm wishing for Allison's family & friends that they can rest knowing he will serve his time out after this.

Discussions about the book - The Murder of Allison Baden-Clay by David Murray

I got the book for Christmas too, my husband knew how obsessed I was.. I had a few tears throughout, almost as often as I ground my teeth over behaviour of the BCs - none more that after her body was found and her mum wanted to hold the girls and he refused! My wish is that one day that family...

    Post verdict discussions #2

I would love to know what he thinks of the rest of the family..

The aftermath of the verdict *MERGED*

Toni said she was "devastated" when she heard Allison was missing. You would think if she had no knowledge of foul play. She would be excited to think the marriage was over & they could be together. This reaction just doesn't sit well with me.

I didn't think so either "replace my wife" I would have believed right away.

How can GBC appeal? Discussion, links, and documents

Thanks Total, I was having the same thought processes but not the skill to post it as well I wanted to ask - the captiva photo, no number plates but loads of measuring went on. Looking for height of driver? Looking for height of passenger? What if it showed two heads? If the Crown has no proof...

Thanks for that, you made me feel much less anxious about it.

    ***GUILTY***The Verdict Waiting Room #3

My understanding of it was that they were making a go of their relationship & work under her terms. So far removed from the lethargic sofa lover the BC & friends painted her. She was looking to the future and one that the friends who thought enough of GBC to "invest" in his company wanted her...

    The Verdict Waiting Room

Lol! As opposed to GBC - who turned out to be a *advertiser censored* in tinfoil. "Scouts honour" has never meant less. Not much work getting done Monday - need to find an "appointment" in town

    The Verdict Waiting Room

Perhaps the rest of the Badens will revoke the "honour" as never has it meant less.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 10th July - Trial Day 18

Awake & thinking over the events of the last few days. The court letter OW received, could it have been in regards to approaching a jury member? The Judge said he would investigate, how would that proceed? Official requests for interview? Or is it a police matter?

Agree with every single word, exactly how I feel too. Thank you for putting to all together so well. ❤️

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

If Allison put the charger on at (almost) 2am, then immediately left. She would be walking the 15km in pitch dark (no street lights) to Kholo Bridge - walking at say 5km an hour she would have got there at 5am - just a traffic is building & it's getting light yet no- one saw her. So no, I...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

What? Like the DNA of his youngest two children! Guilty! even before we hear the prosecution summary. I was biased I admit but not a single doubt raised for one single piece of circumstance.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 30th June - Trial Day 12, Week 3

Exactly, so he knew all along. I was replying the post asking if anyone thought the BC's knew of the affair. IMHO - absolutely.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 30th June - Trial Day 12, Week 3

No way! You are suspicious that your son is a suspect in a disapearance (not a normal missing person case) enough to insist he call a lawyer(s). Then you find out your son is having an affair with a previous work colleague who left under mysterious circumstances previously, been though she...
