Spain Jay Slater, 19, missing on holiday in Tenerife, 17 June 2024

I can’t imagine the mechanism for how he “cut all his leg up” (per Lucy Law’s interview) on a cactus, if he was on a path? Could the pin drop with his final location be inaccurate enough that he was well off the footpath at this point? I assumed cactus would cause puncture wounds, rather than...

Hopefully this will bring awareness to the importance of having a phone with fully charged battery, proper walking shoes and plenty of water before hiking in the mountains, and lives will be saved because of this.

To determine what he had on his person maybe.

It might be a case of, like with Michael Mosley, he’s partly obscured by wall, rocks, in a gulley etc. but under their noses the whole time, in the area where there has been extensive searches already and within a couple of miles of his last known location.

Spain Jay Slater, 19, missing on holiday in Tenerife, 17 June 2024

I have a feeling he carried on walking downhill from where his phone last pinged, in to the ravine towards the sea, where it would have been cooler. Maybe sending his location before his phone died gave him a false sense of security that he could continue off the track, with his general...

Unexpected. He couldn’t have walked that far without any water.

I’m not an expert so I’ll take what PF has said here at face value. However, I think he implied previously that there was a third party involved rather than the more likely scenario that NB was lodged at the side of the river MOO, which was misleading and discredited police activity.

Flowers, soft toys, ribbons etc. does seem to be the way some people express their grief. It’s not something I really understand, but for some people this does seem to be their love language.

Found Deceased UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #17

Way back on a previous thread, pre the discovery, a comment stood out to me as being thought provoking - Simplistic67 (?) suggested NB may have asked someone to look after Willow while she used a toilet at the caravan site. I’m also still quite fascinated by the Ron/Penny/Ron’s wife...

In response to some confusion as to why a person would join a Teams call and make a play date preceding suicide, they probably wouldn’t trust they’d go through with it, particularly if there had been previous failed attempts.

I made that assumption too for some reason… I can’t think why now.

Thanks. I’m going to look at the discrepancies now. Definitely worthy of analysis, presumably NB was very close by at this point due to the timeframe.

Maybe his wife is more social and more likely to know their identities, and maybe they wanted to share the scenario with her as it was odd. I get the looking at wallpaper, I’ve reunited a phone with its owner by doing this.

Yeah, I think it’s easy to slate people like this as self interested, which is probably true, but that isn’t to say they also don’t want to genuinely help to find Nicola and do their best for the family too. The goals aren’t mutually exclusive.

Yep he’s a big bloke but stood right in the middle of that path, blocking it. Totally unethical.
