Well, theoretically a pair of shorts could have gotten tossed on top of some other type of remains and therefore they were "on" them, as in "on top of" rather than "wearing." But, that's not the most plausible explanation in the world.

Oh no. I don't know what made me check back over here today, but I'm so sad to see this news. My thoughts and prayers are with Dylan's family and friends, as well as all of you who put so much heart into finding him, and will now put it into finding out what happened. Dylan, RIP sweet boy.

How small is a small amount of blood (has it been said anywhere?) A punch to the face/nose/head would probably lead to more than a small amount, unless the amount is just what landed on the surface at Exxon and the rest is somewhere else. Thinking as I type here....

That area has had several bikers hit by cars in the past decade. I'm fearful for him.

It's like that Dove commercial that was recently released w/the sketch artist and the women describing both themselves and another woman. None of the sketches (IMO) look EXACTLY like the woman. It seems like an odd statement to me, too.

Along the lines of factory worker/delivery driver, I know when I worked at Starbucks (not entirely the same thing I realize) the Pepsi Co. drivers would come in right when we opened at 430am. It was the end of their shift, they drove/delivered for 8 hours (or so) before that. I knew them all...

Re: not sticking around. A rational person probably wouldn't, but IMO (and MOO) people that commit these types of crimes aren't necessarily rational. They often like to stay around and watch the results of their actions.

I'm at work so I can't google (well, I could, but my employer probably wouldn't appreciate a google search about MJ laws) but I'm fairly certain the "personal use" clause is further defined in some places to include a number of plants (10, 20, something like that)
