I get what you are saying, I just wonder how much of it is actually their choice. Some parents are choosing to grieve publicly, but I feel like at this point none are given the choice to do it privately and that's unfortunate.

These funeral pictures really bother me :( For obvious reasons, but also for the fact that these people have to bury their children with God-knows-how-many reporters and cameramen watching. At what point do we just let them grieve privately?

I haven't been following that. Even though the Flint area is only 2 hours away, it seems a world away from here and, sadly, they have VERY high crime rates so it isn't that much out of the norm for that area. It was just a VERY odd coincidence that it happened at the same time as this case.
