i have listened to that call so many times and have never heard anything intelligible on it. i think people are hearing what they want to hear.

i agree. but i also go back and forth about whether i want to know any more. i look at my own small sons and think of JZ's tiny little body being tossed out like garbage and my heart breaks into about a thousand pieces. i can't imagine his life was blissful and happy until the day he was beaten...

I tend to agree! Do intoxicated people wander? Sure. Do they make reckless choices? Sometimes, yes. But I have always felt that very few of the people who completely vanish are victims of misadventure.

i wonder if LE ever considered this connection and tried to track Thomas Welnicki's whereabouts on November 15. both cases seem to point to obvious suspects, but it is possible Welnicki and his unidentified partner started with Jennifer and then once the floodgates were open, one or both of them...

This lead being sat on for a year bums me out. It seems like this could have been a win for the LE assigned to her case. The fact that no one is reacting makes me feel like “they” (LE in general) don’t care to solve it one way or the other.

I wonder if she died closer to the date she fell out of contact and was found on the 21st. Based on my personal experience, if they cannot mail down an exact date of death but the cause is clear they often go with the date found.

good point. and i guess in the case of Denise, and Helen Frost - the other person i ALWAYS go back to being "Lorraine" - neither were missing so long that the dentals would have changed much before they died, barring major trauma to the face. i have a feeling we will hear from othram soon on...

Is there a way to tell what info was used to make a rule out? Obviously DNA is pretty certain, but it is possible that a rule out on dentals could be wrong? i came across Denise Sheehy's Charley Project page today and again am so struck by how much she looks like "Lorraine" and how she ran away...

Coming back to share that I went to Crime Con this weekend and went to several Othram sessions and they did not disappoint. fascinating to learn more about their tech and their mission to remove uncertainty.
