So what does LE shining a light on the FP do in the meantime if we (the public) then have to wait months to hear detailed updates? Doesn't that just create chaos? I'm so confused!
Glad to see the thread open again. :)
I'm just looking at the piece of red fabric that has just been unearthed at the creek search site. Photo in this article:
New item found in William Tyrrell search
It looks too large to be the Spider-Man suit, doesn't it? Unless there was a Superman cape...
I have been listening again to 'Nowhere Child', Caroline Overington's podcast for The Australian, and firstly, I want to point out how beautifully produced it is. The soundscape, the structure, her unique style of narration, and the interesting interview subjects paint a rich picture.
That...
BeaSmith mentioned the 'game' that the FP have mentioned before: Mummy Monster. I am also keen to hear more about this. And interesting that they're described as games when that and Daddy Tiger seem to just be typical child role-playing. Not a 'game'. Daddy Tiger involved roaring and running...
In an episode of the Ten podcast the FFC says that when the sniffer dogs arrived she grabbed some of William's items to take down to them but the officer said they wouldn't be needed as these were cadaver dogs. What a confronting thing to hear!
Excuse my flurry of posts but I've just spent the weekend catching up on all the new threads... has there been any speculation previously about disposal of a body in a local waterway or dam? That would not require burial.
MFC jokes on the Ch10 podcast that he could get reception at FGM's but he had to like stand on a chair in a corner or something and it would keep dropping out so just easier to go to the next town.
I think the decision of CO's podcast to release an update episode that only contains the FD's statement/interview is quite telling. Particularly as she made a point to highlight the use/misuse of the word 'balcony' when explaining that William was playing on the back deck.
Overington would've...
I watched the 60 Minutes piece and was quite alarmed at that looming high balcony dominating the background of so many of the shots. It was almost screaming to be noticed! And the fact that it can be accessed from the backyard -easily for an active three-year-old- is quite alarming. I kept...
Just thought I'd mention that the 'Milat' book mentioned a few pages back by Clive Small is on Amazon Kindle at the moment for around $3. (On iBooks it's about $15). In case any one here wants to snap it up for cheap!
This video piece on the couriermail site is a montage and retrospective from the journalists' viewpoints in the early days of the case. It's rather poignant...
Hi, is someone able to link me to the closing arguments from each side? Searching for anything here is needle-in-a-haystack stuff! Thank you and thanks to all the retweeters. I appreciate your dedication.
